Welcome to LBT! :clock: -
Prayers are being sent as we speak! I hope they get the truth out of her. So many people here say they just didn't see them and get away with it. Now, tell me how many people can't see a motorcycle on the road? I see people avoid being behind one. They really need to make the laws stricter for people that hit a motorcycle! I bet they would see them then! Please keep us posted on his progress!

"No Way" Not everyone has erosion, some people have had their bands for years without problems. If I start having problems, then and only then would I consider taking it out. My band has given me a new life!

Just last night, I was in the garage getting the long extention cord out to hook to the shop vac. He told me he was going to have to teach me how to unroll the extention cord! WTF! I could care less! As long as it works, that suits me just fine. And the toilet paper things, I think I am the only person that knows how to put on a roll of paper! Even at my old job, I was the only one to do it, men will take it out of the wrapper, and sit it on the sink or on the floor. And dishes, my DH will put his in the sink, rinse them off, but can't take the extra second to put them in the dish washer. If I am standing there, I'll say "Why don't you put them in the dish washer". Then and only then will he do it! Men!

Erosion, The Real Facts
Iluvharleys replied to Ariel Ortiz M.D. FACS's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
When I read Dr. Ortiz's thread, I thought how sweet and caring he was to post this. I think the reason he did this was because so many of his patients were calling/faxing him because of all the problems they were reading about on LBT. I actually think his whole reason for posting was to help these people understand more about erosion, and not to be so scared. I have to say that reading some of the posts really scared me too. I think most of us value our doctors, and the majority of us don't want someone else putting them down. We have come to trust our doctors with our lives, so when someone says something bad about them, we are willing to stand up and fight. And, while we think the world of our doctor, not everyone is going to think the same about him/her. I learned a long time ago that every doctor is not perfect in everthing he does, but I don't need someone else telling me that! Let's just think about what we say about others doctors before we say it, it takes a long time for hurt feelings to heal. I value the information we get on LBT from doctors and nurses. I hope they continue to come here and post. I also value the bandsters that have lost their bands and continue to stay on and post with us. Who knows, I might be one of them someday, and I can see how they coped with it and what I have to look forward to. These people have been on LBT for a long time, and they can help with some of the problems you are having now as well as some you might have in the future. Please people, don't make these people feel bad for staying on, we need them here. I was banded because of some of these same people being such an inspiration to me while I was researching. I for one hope they stick around for a very long time. -
Good looking family you have there! :target:

ROFLMAO! That's good Jenna! Hang in there, Jenna's right, as soon as you get that fill, things will be different!

Good Afternoon Y'all! What a beautiful day! I had some puter work to get done and I had that done around noon, then I ran some errands. When I got home it was so pretty I went for a walk!:target: :clap2: :clap2: I just finished eating my lunch and now I am going outside to do some more cleanup stuff. I actually got a little red in the face from the sun yesterday! My son called last night, the GD's wanted to talk to GMa! They are so cute! The oldest will be 5 in 17 days (she reminded me) and she will talk your head off! I must have talked to her for half an hour. The other one is 3 and she talks a little while but can't sit still more than 5 minutes! They are so precious! It just made my evening. I haven't seen them for about 2 years, so I do miss them. They use to live here but moved back up north. They were both born here. Beanie - I learned the hard way too, I only plant stuff that comes back every year except for just a few things that bloom to put around the pool. Every year I spent a fortune buying all these pretty plants, and then with the summer heat it didn't take long for them to die away. I like them there ones that come up ever spring/summer!:tape2: :mad2:  (do I sound like a Texan) Cindy - Enjoy your time away! Nothing better to refresh yourself than a little R&R alone! Eileen - Hope you aren't working too hard! Dianne - What a precious puppy! Patty - Call and pester them! If you don't your stuff will probably sit on someones desk till it gets lost and then you will have to send it again! Hello to all the rest of you, I am going to get off here and go outside before it gets too late!

Congrats! I will be looking forward to pictures too! Babs when are you going to post your pictures?????

Too much Morning Restriction Anyone
Iluvharleys replied to JAYGERL05's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Sometimes if you eat a lighter supper, then you will be able to eat in the morning. I heard a lot of doctors recommend this. -
I don't think I could cook without garlic!:biggrin1: I got through spirts, sometimes I get very gassy, then it goes away, and then it hits me again. Welcome to bandland!:target:
