I need help please. I just do not know what to eat. What can I have and what to stay away from. Can someone please help. Is there something out there that tells you what to eat and what to stay away from? I had my sleeve on 1/20/10 and am just real sick of eatting the same old food all the time. HELP PLEASE. :thumbup1:

Sorry I did not get bzck to you till now.. I guess you got the info about payment. How did it go? I am not at mo. yet and have lost soooooooooooo much and fell better every day. I went from a size 18 to a size 12 lost about 50 lbs. It is so important to go to all the free stuff novus has to offer and you will meet alot of people that will help along the way it is amazing. I am so happy I has the sleeve and would tell everyone to do it. MAKE sure you start your stool softner about 2 weeks before surgery and do not stop after till Dr, Webb tells you it is ok to stop. I was not told this by novus and it is not in the hamd book but Dr. Webb said he was going to have them enter this in the book because it is real important . I ended upb in the ER getting unimpacted. PAIN I NEVER WANT AGAIN....

Hi, I had the sleeve on Jan 20th and I still do not get all I need to drink in. I am taking in about 30 to 40 oz max. I try to get in 8 OZ of protein a day. I eat no pasta or rice, Bread .I take a few bites and fill up too fast because it expands and it makes me very sick. I can drink tea but not too sweet I mix 1/2 and 1/2 if I drink tea at all. I have not drank any soda as well.

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you now before the big day or even then. We could get together for lunch one day and I will answer any Questions you may have before. It is wonderful to have someone I can talk to about this. I felt so alone here and did not have anyone to talk to till I found this website. AWESOME site.

I was a self pay, I Started it all in mid November and on Jan 20th I had the sleeve. It all went very fast. You will go to alot of visits with Novus and the Doc, Blood work, it will fly by and before you know it you will be at the hospital for the big day. What hospital are you going to have it at?

Hi, My name is Cindy Vogel, I had my sleeve on 1/20/10 in Jacksonville, Fl By Dr. Steven Webb, out of Memorial Hospital. I have lost right at 40 lbs. My starting weight the day of surgery was 240 and today I am at 190 WOW.. I have so many questions and could not beleive it when I came accross this web site. If anyone could help it would be wonderful. 1) Heartburn how long does it last and how do you get it in control? 2) I can only get in about 30 oz of Liquid in a day is this normal and how do you get more in on top of the food? 3) I can only eat about 3 oz at any given time. But Rice, Pasta Bread are a NO for me I get so Sick and now cream soups and any Sugar get me real sick. Why is this happening and is it normal to be getting so sick all the time? I do not want to eat or drink for fear of getting sick.

Thank you both so much for all the help and answers. I will check out the Cornell Guide as well. I did ask my Doctor about the drinking and the food intake, His reply is try everyday to get more in, I understand that but just feel like I am not getting enough Liquid a day. I am still real drained. BUT I am getting all the protein in everyday.
