OK, I will be the first to say that I am not always on top of the lastest products, but today I found drinks at Costco with 30g protein, 5 carbs, and l60 calories. I am so excited, even though I am probably the last person on this forum to find this product. I will be sleeved in two days and am already planning what I will be eating. Gee, one would think I'm obsessed with FOOD..LOL

Just got a call from my dr. He wants me to come in at 4pm for "swallow test"...my surgery is not until Monday .....Did anyone else have this done prior to surgery?

It was interesting to watch the xray screen...and about the taste of the barium drink, tasted dang good to me, I am on day 12 of my pre-op liquid diet. I think I am finally getting used to the liquid diet:001_tongue:

I am at Day-9 of my two week pre-op diet,,,I feel your pain! I swear, I dream about menthol lights. When I stopped smoking I used food as a substitute. Then the food stopped, along with caffeine and carbonated drinks. I spend alot of time looking at before and after pictures to inspire me to just "shut up and drink". I am tired during the day but having trouble sleeping at night,,what's up with that? Just 5 days to go..I can make it. The time really does go by quick, hang in there

I am soooo impressed...I haven't had my sleeve done yet (3/29), but I hope to have the success you have had. Way to go!

Yahoo! I am so happy for you..my daughter had surgery at Forest Park three weeks ago and I am scheduled there next Monday. It really is a nice place and I can't wait. Chill, watch a little TV, and enjoy that buzz, you deserve it

Hello all! I am so excited to have found this site. I am scheduled to have the sleeve done on March 29th. I can't wait..I am starving:svengo: My doctor has his patients on liquids for two weeks prior to surgery. I also quit smoking a month ago. Life is really tough right now..just taking it hour by hour... My starting weight is 207, my BMI is 39, my surgeon Dr. Kim

Hey girl, I am with you ,,,clear liquids until my surgery 3/29,,,I keep trying to justify having just a little something,,,When that happens I call my daughter (a psychiatrist and sleeve patient),,,she talks me down. Two weeks of this is really tough,,but we can do it! Hang in there!

Thanks for all the positive comments and advice..I really appreciate that. I am now one week from surgery and afraid I may dislocate my jaw from all the gum chewing I am doing:lol0: I am really getting excited!
