    March 28Th Surgery

I had my surgery 9 months ago and I've lost 141 pounds so far. It has completely changed my life. It was by far the best decision I ever made. I completely understand about your fears and worries. I felt that way too. But I am sure you will find that it is a wonderful thing you've done and you will be so happy!!

2 Days Post Op And Confused

That's normal and how it is in the beginning. Expect that to be the case at first. As time goes on it will become easier but don't push the process. It takes time. Do what you can but don't worry if you can't get all the protein in at first. I couldn't. But just keep sipping and remember you did something positive. trust the process!
  4. I had the same exact issues. I totally understand. I struggled a lot in the first few months due to head hunger. But it gets easier as the grehlin hunger hormone gets out of your system. And as your body doesn't let you overeat anymore it becomes less of a draw and you do lose interest more and more. I never thought that it was possible for that to happen to me of all people but it does work!

    Finally Deciding To "do It"

Your story feels so familiar to me. I really can relate especially to how the lightbulb went off when you heard about the sleeve. This is totally my experience. I felt too uncomfortable with the bypass to do it I was approved once for it about 6 years ago and chickened out. When I heard about the sleeve I knew that it was for me and I can tell you at 9 months post up it was BY FAR the best decision I have ever made in my life. It has completely turned my life around. I am so happy for you!
