Hi Sheryl, :biggrin0: I want to thank you for your response. I am happy to hear your excited about your op. I am really looking forward to mine too, yet saying that I have found myself eating more than I usually do, dont know if thats the nerves kicking in. I am keen to have a life change,but it seems like its going to take a lot of determination. So did you wait long to be accepted or was you accepted straight away? I got accepted over a year ago, but the process is soooo long. I had a previous date for October but there was some mix up with the date and not given the correct information....anyway that was then and this is now!!! How are you coping? -
Hiya, you seem to have been on here for a long while. I'm still trying to get my way around starting today. I'm pre-op and diabetic and my op is on 24th May and pretty nervous. I am eating more than I normally do and just doing the things I shouldn't in regards to food and sweets! Is this the norm in terms of eating?

Hi Lynette, I am type 2 diabetic and taking insulin SolarStar 36 units but I'm pre op and due to have my op next month. Dont know if you really wanted to speak to someone who is post-op?
