  1. Love to Lose

    plane ride home

Your doctor will tell you that walking will be good for you. I checked in my luggage and had only my purse to carry. I had plenty of time between connecting flights and was able to take my time getting from point A to point B. If you do get tired when walking to the gate, you can always flag down one of the courtesy carts to take you the rest of the way.

    plane ride home

The only problem I experienced was tiredness....especially since it took 13 hours to travel from Tijuana to Dayton. (flight delay and extended layover) But, I didn't hurt at all. I kept a water bottle with me at all times and filled it up at water fountains at the airport. I'm sure you'll get along great!
  3. You won't need much. I was out of the hospital gown the morning after surgery and into my p.j's. I left the hospital in the loose clothing I arrived in. I agree with the others about the items you will want to have with you....additionally, you might also want to add Gas-X Strips to your list.

    Plane trip home

I traveled to MX as well; and spent 14 hours on planes and in airports. I didn't have any discomfort except tiredness. My surgery was on a Monday and I was returning home on Friday. One thing you will want to consider is to plan your return trip so that you don't have to carry anything except your purse. I may have been one of the fortunate ones; but I didn't even have to take pain pills during my return trip. Hope you have as good an experience as mine. Best Wishes!
