cwalker replied to Papillon's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
What size bougie..I still don't know. lol Good Luck! -
I had a 3 week stall at 3 weeks.lol. Hang in there and measure to see if inches are coming off then you're doing great. I feel better too but only walking 1 mile a day..being kind to my knee's. I have gone from 18w jeans to 16 and they are getting loose.YAY!! I'm still trying to work this tool but my loss is satisfactory to me:) and I'm 6 weeks out tommorrow. Does anyone know when we can start sit-ups and other exercises?Carla:confused1:

cwalker replied to bigjay's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was told I might need b12 shots as it is the only vitamin we don't absorb as well so my pcp gave me a shot @ 4 weeks out and it was a energy booster for a few days! Good Luck!!:thumbup1: -
10 pounds in two weeks
cwalker replied to Lovingme2011's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I think 10 lbs is awesome!! Tommorrow is my 6 weeks anniversary but for the first 2 weeks my loss was even with yours.Your body is in shock and it'll even itself out just stick with the program and try to exercise some. I'm not lighting any fires but doing my own thing at my own pace. I believe it'll only get better. :thumbup1: Carla:thumbup: -

can we have strawberries at 22 days out, I thought I saw a post where we werent supposed to have them but I had ! with a little nutella now I'm wondering if the seeds were bad for me or something? Carla:confused1:

bring something loose to wear home, sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk and be kind to yourself and rest. I think the fluids are very important and unflavored protein helped me, although you dont need to stress over protein at first, it helped me heal, I'll be a month post op this Saturday. I love the sleeve. You'll do great just make some broth or buy egg drop soup and crystal light popsicles.

I'm in a stall too for last week and half, and I step on the scale 3 times a day, ugh!! We leave Friday on 9 days vacation wondering if I can leave scale at home.lol
-
you need to put YOU first Take time to heal and maybe things will be better and if not you'll know you went the extra mile. Carla
