Yes, I have rhuematoid arthritis so I know chronic pain and limits of how much I can exercise, I'm still only doing a mile and some days only manage 1/4. Why no Ibuprofen? I've been on my meds since 8 days out(celebrex and immune suppressant) and was told I could take Aleve if I had to but to try not to take more than a couple of times a week.I think it has slowed my inches coming off..having chronic pain but I do push myself too and then soak in tub and use aspercreme.lol, it works. Wonder if a steriod shot would help?

I typically eat 1 egg cooked in pam for breakfast,Lunch is usually Grilled Talapia and a few green beans,Dinner is Salmon or flounder baked and a small amt of veggie. If I'm munching I gp for Beef Jerkey.I use a little light ranch dressing on the salmon to make it more moist. Hope that helps.

Way to go Angie, have a great vacation! -
He talked about it in the seminar and I thought that was what I was getting until the morning of the surgery but the incisions are very small the longest is 2 inches, he doesent use stitches outside so the scars are smooth, not bad at all.I have heard the Dr. davis's are really good too and my daughter used Hadar Spivak for her RNY, he is very good too. We're here to help if you need us.

There's no limit on the clears, drink some moe soup, add some protein to the soup, it seemed to help me. Get a popsicle, just a little longer and you'll be done. I remember getting up in the night and drinking the broth because I was empty.Hang in there!

go online and gregister at website, look to see if they cover wls or if they have Bariatric resource services, if they do call the number to BRS. If you're not sure call UHC to verify you have coverage for surgery.Find out the requirements. Find a surgeon and get the ball rolling. Good Luck!!

I'm in Texas too, had surgery with Dr. Robert marvin @ Methodist on MAIN ST. Ask away, my surgeon was on TLC he operated on the teen in Houston."The Brian Story", his website wwwdoctormarvin.com for diet guidelines. I didnt have a catheter, had a samll tube attached to a pain ball that came out 48 hrs post op, so small it didnt even bleed. I had clears for 7 days, mushies for 21 days and at 30 days full food. I came home the next day, the pain wasnt bad at all, your're going to be fine, just trust your surgeon.
