    1 Year today.

You look amazing! Especially considering you haven't exercised. Well done! x
  2. At three months out, I still get the growling but no hunger pangs. It's just noisy xx
  3. I'm just over three months out and wondered how much water other people can manage at one setting. I seem to be able to drink rather quickly these days. Is this normal? xx

    Water question

Thanks, I'm trying to do everything right, but sometimes think I'm doing everything wrong! xx
  5. Well done to you! I hope I can do even nearly as well as you xx
  6. I'm constantly cold. When I lost weight other times before I had surgery, I don't remember feeling the cold - but now, I'm still sleeping with two duvets on the bed! xx

    Regrets??

Three months out and not a single regret xx

    30 plus days in hospital

So sorry to hear that you have had such a distressing time! Let's hope that you are turning a corner now and you will soon be in your own bed and on the road to recovery. Big hugs xx

    One Tiny Victory

    Woohoo! xx
  10. I think I may go along and offer up my arm. Thanks for that xx
  11. It definitely takes some getting used to! I still look at the portions I put out for myself and think - it's such a small amount, and yet I very rarely manage to finish it all xx
  12. I agree, I think you should look at a different protein powder. Good luck xx

    Alli, anyone?

I was on Orlistat for a short while pre-surgery, but never, ever again! Awful things. You won't need them xx

    comfort zone

That is brilliant - well done!! xx

    New and have questions

It took me a good month to get back to being able to get through the day without having to lie down at some point for a nap. It really depends on how fit you are pre-op too xx

    Target Calories?

I'm just over 11 weeks out and have only just moved up to 800 calories a day in the past week. I don't start on solid food until I'm 12 weeks and even then I was told 800 is what I should be aiming for. I think I was anywhere between 450 and 650 at your stage. Hope this helps a little xx

    Onederland!!!

Congratulations! We're neck and neck now - I got to 198 on Monday and was thrilled! (By the way - very jealous that you have Dexter season 3!) xx
  18. That's good to hear! It takes a bit of getting used to, but you will improve daily xx

    Amount of Stomach removed?

I asked this and they said it's a matter of grams. I was trying to add up the weight of all the bits I've had removed (a lot of my stomach; my appendix; my womb and ovaries) - keep thinking I should subtract it from my optimum weight. Nah, won't bother! xx

    Maximum carbs post-op

I'm trying to write up my menus for the next week and I know how much Protein I need to have, but what is the maximum amount of carbs? I try to keep them to an absolute minimum, and avoid 'empty calories' from carbs. Can anyone throw any numbers at me please? x

    Maximum carbs post-op

Thanks Keys - that is about what I've been aiming for x
  22. I have a small china bowl and a small terracotta flat bowl that I use in the oven and microwave. I also use a teaspoon to eat with as I'm still on mush. Once I go onto more solid foods, I have a small fork ready. I also bought some baby/toddler food pots for storage xx
  23. Anyone else sleeved on or around Feb 27th 2010? It would be nice to find someone who was 'done' the same time as me xx
  24. Hi hun. Thanks for asking - I've got a kidney infection  - not much fun, so it's antibiotics for a while. My stomach feels really bloated at the moment, although 3 people commented on how much I'd lost today. (Smaller jeans, so I no longer have a baggy bum!) xx
