Well six months out and doing good. The weight just keeps slowly coming off.
Down 72 lbs now. I am doing a lot of biking so I have also out on some muscle.
Just started lifting weights again a week ago so I expect to put some more weight with that.
Into 38 in. jeans now... and I don't know the last time that happened!
Bags and bags of my clothes to the thrift store... I refuse to spend much on clothes.
I going with one pair of jeans at a time through the journey...
I don't count carbs or cals at all and I am enjoying eating less food... cookies (life style kind) every day with my Tim Horton's coffee.
I would like to be down 100lbs by Christmas... It will be close!
Blessings Russ

Hi! I'm considering Dr. Pompa as well & just waiting to find out if I'm accepted! It's good to hear from another Saskatchewanian!! I'd love to hear how you're doing now & how long it took for you to get a surgery date!

Yes, I went through Melanie and I was one of her first to be operated on by Dr. Pompa. I had my surgery March 8th. I am doing very well and energy level is good. Great to hear you and your wife are doing well.
I'm sure we will keep in touch.

Hi there, I am from Canada too! Did you go through Melanie? Who did your VSG?
You must have been done in Feb.
One month in today and my wife and I are feeling good!
All the best Russ

Congrats on your decision for your sleeve! I am from Prince Albert and noticed by your name that you must be from Saskatoon. I too was sleeved on March 8th by Dr. Pompa. She is amazing and would highly recommend her clinic. I am doing very well since my sleeve an to date I have lost 30 lbs in 33 days. I didnt measure my inches lost and now I wished I would have cause it is really noticeable especially around my abdomen.
I just wanted to connect with a fellow sleever that is close and support each other if you want. Keep well and I look forward to hearing about your progress. Cheers!
