Well I'm super nervous now that there has been an earthquake there. Hopefully everything gets straightened out in 3 weeks. Pnw218: I used to live in Calgary and left the big city for the country. I've never been to Seattle. I've been to Spokane lots for shopping. I am hoping our dollar stays at par until I've lost all my weight so I can go on a huge clothing shop! Might not be able to afford the gas to get there by the looks of things but oh well.

Thanks for keeping us updated Kathy. You must be beside yourself with worry. I know I am, and I don't go for another 3 weeks. Glad your friend Scott is okay and thank him for giving us a full account of it.

I can't even imagine how you are feeling right now Kathy. I don't have surgery there for 3 weeks and I'm scared! I have heard there is no power in Mexicali still this morning. And they have to sterilize basically the whole hospital. I hope the people there for surgery are okay. I would be scared spitless! I hope things go okay for you and I selfishly hope things will be okay in 3 weeks.
