Hi Tiffy! I think we all need to find our own path and what works for us as individuals in sleighing our dragons/demons- This website is an invaluable tool to me and I for one will say that you have helped me from day #1 as well as countless others with the journey that we all are on.

Hi Lan! I too find a great source of comfort in those rooms. I attended CEA How a spin off of OA and actually lost 70lbs by following that program. I never could find my way back to the program and thats why I chose WLS first with the band - and when it slipped and I had to have an emergency removal- I swore to myself that I would go back to the program- I didnt - couldnt and then about a year later after gaining almost 100 lbs back I opted for VSG. I am thrilled with my sleeve and I have absolutley no regrets- anymore (I did the first month out) I will say that I have thought about going to a meeting for the support though. I wish there was a 12 step group for Post WLS people?

I was in Vegas @ a Trade Show. Its an annual event for us with work. I will tell you that usually this is PARTY CITY for all of us. WHEW!!! what Tiffy says about it hitting you hard and fast is not an understatement!!! I learned my lesson and most likely I am done with drinking. YUCK!!

I have not been making healthy choices lately. I dont drink enough water and I seriously ate an entire hagendaz sick ice creme today! I felt so sick after eating it. I feel sick with myself for not trying to be healthier,. I went through all this with the intention of losing weight but being healthy too. I feel week in body and spirit.

Thanks Ladies! Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to try my best to make healthy choices. = -)

I can not for the life of me eat eggs!! really frustrates me as I LOVE scrambled eggs with parmesan cheese. I just cant do it though.

OK So I am at work and we have this lady that comes by every so often that brings home made mexican food. Tamales, Tortas, and today she had Chili Rellano plates. Anyway...........I bought a cheese tamale. WOW!!! I had 3 bites and also a bite of cottage cheese. I am STUFFED!!!! previously I would have eaten 3 or 4 tamales. Or a HUGE Torta. I LOVE my SLEEVE!!!!

awww hang in there honey! It sounds like you have a good plan in place! If you decide to go with the DS thats ok too. My mom has the DS- she has had it for 12 years and she is doing fine. She takes vitamins but we all should be taking vitamins right? I am sending you a big hug and lifting you up in prayer. it will be ok no matter what! xo
