  1. Welcome to the Sleeve Forum. I hope you get answers to your questions. I hope your surgery goes well. I am glad to see that you are doing this at an early age. I am 55 years and I wish I could have had this done years ago. Well I am so happy that I finally had it done on Dec. 2, 2009 and now my journey has really begun. I started out at 257 lbs. a year ago, went up to 266 in July, down to 232 the night before surgery and now I am at 201. I have no regrets. Please keep coming back to let us know how you are progressing. Thank you for starting a new thread. I was scared in the beginning when I decided to have a sleeve instead of the Band, but my fears became less and less after reading more and more postings on here and seeing all the good results others were having from the sleeve. It gets easier at time goes on.

  2. im about half way done with my classes at Kaiser which means im half way to getting my surgery im liittle scarred not gonna lie. but i was wondering how painful was it after the surgery? how long did you wait before going back to work? and also do you get alot of the dumping syndrome? i heard you get it with the gastric bypass more. i can ask these types of questions to my doc or some other medical person haha but i think i can find more accurate answers from people who have experienced it already. thanks i hope to hear from everyone!:thumbup1:
