Hi,

I traveled to Houston, TX for my surgery and I live in Miami FL. Unfortunately I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to pain I to have to do a 2 week liquid diet, but mine does include protein shakes, yogurt, SF Popsicles, light juices, broth, creamy soups, etc. After the 2 weeks then I could start on my mushies. My incisions are ok I guess, they still have the little stirry stripes over them, they haven't fallen off yet But it is starting to itch around them.

I did find a local doctor in which will do my follow-up visits and then I'll return to Houston for my 6mo, 9mo, and 1 yr follow-ups.

One annoying thing I have noticed is that I get thirsty and I feel like gulping down the water and I can't! I hate that because I usually drink a lot of water, also I can't sleep on my side I have to sleep on my back only for now and it sucks!!
