so most of you get yout total protein just from foods most of the time. of course right now i am fine with the protein drink but it is sweet tasting to me.

I have enjoyed learning about other people not liking the Protein shakes. They are so sweet. The ones that I am drinking only have 2grams of sugar. please help me. I have the one from GNC that is Advanced Muscle Milk, chocalate and vanilla. I am getting sort of tired of drinking them alone so would really like a suggestion on how you old timers spruce them up. thanks. new to sleevers- sleeved on 12809

I was sleeved also in Dec. 8th. We are one day apart. I some days don't know what I am feeling. Some meals I think I'm hungry but then it just feels like an empty feeling. I am really not understanding what I am feeling. Whether I am hungry, empty or full when I do eat. I am sure over time both of us will learn what we are suppose to with this sleeve. I also have had no problems with nausea,vomiting or anything. I have been able to hold down everything that I have wanted to sip. Some things are a little sweet, even the sugar free stuff. Do you have pain sometimes on your upper left side?

thanks i called the office today and they told me it is something that my dr. does when closing up the site around where the stomach is. she said it must be pulling or something like that now that i am on full liquids. it is better tonight. i am doing better today!! thanks. how do you get the weight loss things under your name when you post? i also am having a hard time uploading a pic.

hey guys, i am a newby to the vsg. i am having pain in the upper left of my abdomen that feels like i have a catch in it. i have had it pretty much all day. it started bothering me worse when i laid down. i don't know if i should call my doctor. it is a dull pain. i had procedure done on 120809:sad0:

I too am 6 days post op. only spent one night in hospital. was on clear liquids until today and went to full liquids then in 3 days mush foods also. i have a little catch under my left breast area on my abdomen and it is uncomfortable to sit or lie down right now.
