I was put on a clear diet for 3 weeks. I'm starting to wonder If I can drop that back to 2weeks? I'm noticing that a lot of people on here were on full liquids by the 2nd week if not the 1st week. -
Got home last night, surprisingly hardly any pain at all. The stomach noises are quite annoying already( Doc has me on Nexxium for that), when everybody spoke of drinking slow, they were not kidding! Anything more than an ounce or two at a time and I feel like I have eaten thanksgiving dinner. Hope 4204 how goes it for you??

Thanks, I 'll give it a try. Stomach acid production huh? My doc put me on a 30 day prescription for Nexxium, I guess that's supposed to assist with that. Just ate breakfast...1/4 cup of decaf tea, 1/2 cup of fat free skim milk, and a 1/4 cup of SF gelatin. 2 hrs in and I have the milk, and tea gone, still working on the jello.

No, I haven't tried that. Does it firm it up? The noise I just attribute to my body getting used to having nothing in it.

OMG!!!! I can't wait til I get to the point where I can put a Steak in ( I don't care if it is only a couple forkful's).

I just got home yesterday. Surgery was done on Mon, Dec.7th. I have been dealing with a lot of "noise" from my stomach, and you guys are defenitely right..liquid in, liquid out, LOL. I am shocked that Judy is on soft foods only 1 week out? My dr. just told me yesterday to do 3 weeks of clears? I would LOVE to do two weeks of clears, and a week of full liquid(xmas is coming up).

Dec. 7th huh? Looks like we'll be running the marathon of reaching our goals together, I am also scheduled for the 7th. The closer it gets the more Queasy I feel (My first ever surgery), but I keep telling myself that this is just the first stepm in getting my life back under control...I wish you well, and can't wait to see your progress.

Congratulations!!! I have been following thhe board quietly for the last few months, but now my date is near. I am scheduled for Dec. 7th, I hope that I am feeling as well as you when I come home.
