That is just so weird though! It is good for me because I am losing weight but I really do not like to eat out at restaurants anymore. They give you such big portions, it looks like I did not even touch my food and the waitress is like you did not like your food? I do not want to tell her I had surgery and go through the whole ordeal with someone I do not even know.

Hi WhiteRice! I have lost over 40lbs and loving it. I still cannot eat much, maybe a 1/2 of a taco or small cereal box for breakfast. Food just does not seem to taste the same to me. I use to love eating and getting into the flavors on the food, but now it is like I do not want to eat anymore. The flavors are just not there anymore. I do not know why my taste buds would change. I use to love Salsa and chips and cheese now I cannot take the salsa anymore or cheese anymore :-(. I am getting smaller and clothes are starting to look better on me so that is great!
  6. I am out 4 weeks yesterday and I have been in a stall for around a week. I knew this would happen because everyone on the boards said it would, so I was kinda expecting it. But one good thing is that I can eat more proteins like sliced ham, a small hamburger patty moist, beef Jerkey, 1 small chicken finger, and tuna. I am still getting in my 2 mile walk everyday, and I have just started to play tennis again. I am hoping for the lbs to drop on the scale soon.

White Rice, I am so sorry to hear that someone would say something so hurtful to you and in front of your kids. So glad you did not go down to their level and yell back at them. Hold your head up high and know you are on your way to one healthy body.
  8. I think they should of kept you in the hospital at least 1 more day.

Ken, I had the big room next to you at the hospital. I came the next day with my husband. My surgery was the day after yours. How is everything going with you? Everything is going fine with me I am following the diet exactly like I should be. I feel good I do not have any pain. I have lost almost 24lbs including the 1 week liquid diet before surgery. Hope all is well. Kelly65
