Enjoyed this post -- I work with the Corn Refiner's Association so I can attest that High Fructose Corn Syrup has been subject to a lot of misinformation the past few years. It's refreshing to see that people are starting to recognize that a sugar is a sugar and your body metabolizes High Fructose Corn Syrup in the same way it would table sugar or honey. I did want to offer one point of clarification: Audrae Erickson (the source cited above) actually is the President of the Corn Refiner's Association, not an employee of Weber Shandwick Worldwide.
