Thanks and yes, he does suffer from that. Very badly in fact, and it gets worse at certain times for various reasons. Anyway, I won't go into that anymore. I don't want to write about his problems, and as someone who cares for him, that's not really fair. I appreciate all concern.

Thanks, didn't see this before posting the last one. I will do this. We all do this for him. His intentions were of the very best, but it just didn't work out for him. He was honorably discharged by the way, in case one might have thought otherwise. He served his entire term, with honor.

Nope, very serious. He went through a whole year's debriefing process before he even stepped foot back on American soil. He NEVER talks about it. Not even the smallest things. He used to be such a sweetheart, and while he still is - he goes through these bizarre spells where he'll just go into a depressive state. It's quite sad. :tt1: But yes, thank goodness he's back, alive.

My brother for one had intended to spend his career in the Marines until he got in the vicious Iraq cycle. Thank goodness he's come out alive from his numerous tours and is now living in Los Angeles with his girlfriend. We'll never know why, but he just quit.

Then, shortly after as a reward for their hard work and dedication, the soldier is sent on the next plane right back to the war zone. You pose a good question BJean. How do they sleep at night? CC, you're so right about the exercising. I have been pigging out lately. I have lost no weight, and I'm sure if I weren't getting my butt out there and doing this I'd have gained exponentially. Also, I have to step on my scale several times. Whatever weight it reads twice, that's what I write down. I really want to get one of those medical office types that you have to move the weights at eye level. Maybe when I get some extra money I'll do that.

BJean, your entire post was great! Thanks for that. I just wanted to touch a little on this particular part. All that showmanship does not make you any more patriotic than standing in a garage will make you a car. To me one would be doing nothing more than exploiting the very concept of patriotism doing these things.

Susan, you're doing the right thing. My Mom never forced me to try tampons, but I did many years ago. I ended up choosing tampons once I did get used to them, but it was my choice. Denise, that's what you call "in love loss"! LOL

I completely understand where you are coming from. The news and media has been cancelled. That is the major factor on why I spend so much time pulling bits and pieces of information from so many different sources. In all that, you are bound to find some morsels of truth. I typically look for any non-partisan statements and completely ignore anything flaming that seems to follow (with the exception of a few...). However, if we love our Great Nation as we say we do, it is our duty. Choosing who is going to lead the greatest country on Earth should never be taken lightly - so I commend you.
