All of life is but 2 things. Lessons and Victories. You will need your Lessons before you get your Victories. One thing is true, always has been and always will be. MY GOD WILL ALWAYS PROVIDE FOR ME. I will always put my Lessons in HIS Hands, and he will always put the Victories in mine.

Yay I get to workout today!!
Okay now, what is a scale whore anyway? I seem to get on my scale once a day first thing in the morning. I remember doing this a long time ago and it kept me thin. It's when I stopped weighing myself that I gained all kinds of weight.

Are there any SIZE Goal sleevers out there?

August is still 7 months away. I've lost 50 Lbs in only 4. I think anyone with the sleeve has a good shot at making any goal they set... unless its to lose 100 Lbs in one month. Myself I was in a conversation with the few ladies who know about my sleeve. They're eyes just bug out every time they see me. They constantly comment how much I've lost. I tell them I still need to lose 70 and they look at me like I'm absolutely crazy... and say... "Uh... ok...." Then said I'd be a size zero probably. LOL They don't know what size I wear I haven't told them. Maybe I'll get to a zero just to get there then bounce back a few pounds. Haaa!! -

I agree Becca. I think being a revision really humbles someone, especially when the last surgery didn't bring the hope that was promised. You've done fabulous! I lost 19 Lbs in my first month sleeved and I was way overjoyed!!! -

Hi Ricky welcome back! This is by far the BEST website for the VSG. No doubt! Other websites that have other surgeries mentioned - there won't be a lot of responses and most of them are from lap banders or RnYers who, no offense but really don't have any idea of the sleevers daily ins and outs. I really never see anyone with actual support groups that meet that only talk about VSG. Usually the majority is RnY and Band. I hope you stick around! CONGRATS ON THE WEIGHT LOSS! -

I'm around 50-100g per day range. I'm losing quite well and really don't have a need at this time to change anything. That's not to say that might change in the future, however right now I'm very comfortable.

Hi Barb!! Well first of all those folks opinions really don't matter at all. There are a few people out there who have found success with the band. More power to them. That doesn't mean that everyone else will. I think there are way more of us than there is of them. My suggestion is, maybe just don't post anything in areas on OH that will get a negative response. I'm under the belief that they will need support one day for issues, and I should hope they'll look back at how they treated yourself and I'm sure others that really needed support. Hugs. You will get plenty here for sure. -

I've heard that some surgeons do offer some kind of surgical insurance for self pay patients. So, in case there is some type of complication, they will be able to correct it without extra money out of pocket to you. Basically it's like them assuring nothing goes wrong. It might be worth checking out! -

That is normal too for our loved ones to feel a little bit intimidated by this. It's a major surgery, and considered elective. I never considered it elective for me, as I knew it was a matter of my life or death. Maybe you can invite her to go with you to your surgeon's Orientation. That really seems to help a lot in situations like this. It has even helped me before. You should also encourage her to read individual stories or follow along most others journeys with you. Having the support of your significant other I think is the most important, you'll find. Good luck. -

Why can't I stay off the scale??? LOL!!! Oh well it was nice to me today anyhow. Down another 1.2 Lbs. I have to admit - it's keeping me super motivated right now. :-)
