    Boob question

Naturally the smaller you get the smaller your boobs will get too. Believe me, a 34D cup is much smaller than a 40D cup. However, in proportion from chest to breast it's still large enough to get into a D cup... if that makes sense. I'm certainly not as full as I used to be but that can be hidden with the wonderful bras of our today's world. I also plan to get an endownment someday too. However recently I have been talked out of a DD and settled on a full D.

    Support Group

I would normally but then I'd have to do it for all support groups in all areas... then it would be out of control.

    Not doing so well..

Well I personally think you are doing good more than bad. Could you make some better choices? Yes, but then again I'm not perfect either by any stretch - I just choose not to ever beat myself up over it. I've done more than enough of that in the past, and that was my *fat* mentality. I'm not that person anymore. So, IMO - things I see you can work on: Take your Vitamins. Also, you don't need to be a Gram counter to ensure you're getting all your Protein in. Just make sure you're getting your Proteins in first while eating and just have few bites of every thing else. It will all work out in the end. You can also take Biotin, it does not help prevent hair loss but it's really great at helping with regrowth. Bonus it also makes your finger and toe nails super strong and healthy. Good luck!! Stop the insanity and be kind to yourself.
  7. It will... IT WILL!!! Promise I'm a revision from lap band to sleeve and I'm here to say... it absolutely will!! The sleeve is far better than the band, just keep following all the sleever rules and it will work for you. You are going to endure stalls just like the band, but unlike the band the weight comes off really fast when it does start dropping. You will always be ahead of the game. With my band I'd go up so much I'd feel defeated... it's just a lot different.
  8. Wishing all those in the tornado affected areas well... stay safe and sound. xoxo

    scared i drank to much

8 oz of protein shake just might be a bit much for you right now right out of surgery. Maybe make your shakes around 4-6 oz for right now. You can refrigerate what's left for the next meal. Good luck!

    I had Sleves Surgery 4-21

Hi Mdgirl, CONRATULATIONS!!! :D My only suggestion to you is to have patience with yourself. You have just had MAJOR surgery and it's going to take a lot of time and practice to get to know the new you. Do what you can, and let you main focus be Water, and don't forget to walk and rest as well. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

    B-12 DOSAGE

I'm taking the Members Mark generic Sam's Club brand, Sublingual B12, 2500 mcg. You get 2 bottles of 200 microlozenges for less than 10 bucks. That's well over a years worth. Good luck!
  14. Hey Hip, How much Water are you drinking? What kind of supplements are you taking and how much? I might suggest looking into taking some type of Vitamin B-12 and Vitamin D supplement, or at least see your Dr. for a full blood panel. If I'm not taking my supplements and drinking all of my water I'm always feeling sluggish/tired and my weight loss will stall. Sometimes we just go through stalls too. I really don't think you've hit your wall yet at all. When was your surgery? Usually sleevers will hit a stall at around 3-4 weeks out and can last a few weeks too. I know one thing too, any type of white carbs and I'm stalling as well. Good luck!!

    pre op

Hi George, Well there is so much to expect, you might want to get more specific with your questions. What I can tell you though for me, I dealt with some nausea, vomiting and lots of fatigue for a the first two months. After I got to eat solids and was able to get all my Water in along with taking all my supplements I began to feel better and better. I feel fantastic now and I'm within reach of my goal now. So, life's great with the sleeve!! Good luck!

    Am I stretching my sleeve???

Hi Samantha, No you are not stretching out your sleeve. However if you are worried you may be eating too much, try this: Use 3 oz max on your pureed meat and only take 30 minutes to eat. Most time themselves. This sleeve thing is really tricky because we lost our hunger sensation. It's hard to guage if we are truly satisfied (no longer hungry). So, measure your portions to a bit less and take less time to eat it. Once that 30 minutes is up, stop eating. I hope this helps! I think you're doing great - no worries.
  21. All of the successes deserve to be celebrated! You've done outstanding and you'll be crossing the border in no time at all!! Congrats

    Menstral cycle

Yes my weight fluctuates a lot based on where I am in my cycle. The week of my Pd I'll stall, gain a few and stay there for a week. It really depends I guess that I have super cravings during this time and I tend to give in. It's super difficult!! However, a week or so later I'll drop those extra pounds I've gained which puts me back to my original weight. Then the few weeks before my Pd. I'll drop massive weight - even up to 15 Lbs. It all works out - I guess since I'm going on my 8th one since surgery I'm pretty used to it. It doesn't bother me as much as in the beginning. As far as how my stomach works, yes I've noticed I can eat more during my Pd and less when I'm not. Very interesting!

    FOOD DIARY??

I think food diaries are an excellent way to keep an eye on what you are doing both pre op and post op. I don't really do one unless I'm feeling like I need to give myself a good kick in the rear. I know when I'm doing the rights things and when I'm not. So, when I'm not this will get me back on track very quickly. The last thing I want to do is see that I have eaten something I shouldn't have! Though you are just starting out so in my personal opinion you would benefit greatly by having a food journal whether it's required or not. There are tons online and many are free. I use dailyplate.com when I'm journaling. Good luck!
  25. Todays chore: Write up a new workout routine. My current one has me... blaahhhh!! I need to incorporate more outdoor activities. Lacking that natural Vitamin D.
