    Hi Hope, well I don't remember the exact numbers but what I recall is that at 6 months out I was down around 65 Lbs. I am very happy with my successes so far... and you are welcome to show them my progress. I need to lose 25 more to goal!!! Hugs!!!

    IMO, the Protein "shots" should only be used in the case that the person cannot tolerate any other form of protein. They are much lower on the quality scale. Again though it is better than no protein at all! However if you can stand them, whey Proteins or proteins made from milk or eggs are your best bet. Good luck!

    I'd like to agree with StacyS, this is very true. Your body will absolutely adjust to the new routine in time. I went through that week and out of it feeling for at least the first whole month, but me then and me today are completely different! I can do 3 hours of workout and still feel energized. Do not worry, you will do excellently. Best wishes!!

  11. Thanks for the kind comment :) I have a hard time with my weight and how I look. I still want to lose about 30ish pounds but don't want to get too skinny... we shall see! You're doing excellent as well, size 18 that's great!!

  12. Yeah... gonna do 30 on the elliptical and 30 minute upper body calisthenics right now. Then I can settle in until 3am. :-D

  13. Really, you should set up a schedule that works for you! If that means taking weekends off, then yes do that. I workout 6 days per week, taking Mondays off. I hate Mondays and like to sleep a little longer, so it works for me. Good luck! PS Walmart has really great prices on Danskin workout clothes. :)

  16. You don't have to wait for a whole week either, if you notice that 20 minutes at a good heart rate pace is not enough then do it for longer. Good luck!

  17. Hi Stacy :) I always advise new people who are just starting out on workouts to begin with walking/treadmill. Start at a pace where you notice you are breathing labored (not choking! LOL) and start with 20 minutes. To build up your endurance bump up your speed and time on a weekly basis. Once you can get up to 30-45 minutes at around 4 MPH I'd say your ready to start doing more. :)

    I started adding a little grated cheese during my full liquids stage. It melts really great on tomato soup... oh yum!!!

    Excellent post!!! I completely agree. I have a very intense workout schedule and I can withstand eating a little bit more carbs than others. It does not keep me from losing weight at all and I believe helps me to perform better. However, as with anyone else the more sugar I eat (empty carbs) of course it will hurt my weight loss. We all just have to find what works for us as individuals. I have found mine and I won't change it unless I feel I need to. It has carried me this far and I'm very close to goal so I seriously doubt I need to change anything at all. When I stall I just look over my recent choices (and it usually shows I'm NOT following what I know works for me) or shake things up (adding more calories, more fats or more workouts) and it works every time. I think my personal main concern here with this thread in general is the idea that there is only one way for all to lose weight. That is simply false and misleading.
