I hear you on the cold. Its just strange to me, its like I don't have any kind of internal thermostat anymore. Summer I get way too hot. Yes, even hotter than I did when I was 100 Lbs heavier. Winter doesn't take much for me to be freezing my toes off. I like to layer my clothes as well in winter and even then doesn't feel like it's enough!!! I'm well over a year out now and I'm seeming to still feeling cold all the time... so I really don't know when it stops. Maybe never...

Re: Popcorn. I was never told I can't eat it, and I do on occasion. The only thing is that I feel zero restriction with it so I have to be careful.

For those who have met their goal for Labor Day already, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! If you'd like a head start, I'm starting the new Challenge NOW. Good luck!!! I will wait to begin on Labor Day though, in hopes to get a few pounds down by then. Today I weigh 186.2 - a combination of surgery weight and PMS... but I'll just have to work hard at getting this off. I'll have to do it without the help of working out too! I can't start to do anything seriously calorie burning until six weeks out... or really until my surgeon gives me the go ahead. So, I'll have to really watch what I'm eating!!! Not that I didn't already, but still. All I can do physically right now is walking, and not even anything fast... just... walking... ugghhh!!! Oh Wow... I just looked it up and 5 Liters of fat is equal to about 11 Lbs. :omg_smile: Again... this is only Phase I!!! I know I will have to wait to full healing and swelling to go down, but that was way more than I ever imagined.

Thanks everyone!! I'm doing pretty good. The drugs they gave me knocked me out almost all day. It even made me a bit nauseated. I'm ok though - just sleeping it off. They took out 5 LITRES!!! Yayyyy!!! LOL :-) So, Phase I was a total success. I'm out for now, need my rest. Big hugs!

My mouth did feel really dry but really I would just sip my Water every few minutes to relieve that.

OH yeah thats ugly... Admins are working the kinks out as we speak. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

Sooo my next big day is finally here!! I check in at 7:15 AM tomorrow morning and they are going to liposuction all the fat from my inner thighs and my knees. Believe me, I told him "don't be shy!" He laughed and said don't worry, he's going to take out as much as possible. Though he did say he has to leave more in some spots than others to keep a natural look. *Sigh* I guess I can live with that. Away I go!!!

I'm just over 14 months out and really I've just noticed real true hunger recently. I get the hunger pangs like old days. It's not nearly as ravenous as it was pre surgery but its definitely there. I think the most overwhelming feeling I get still though is the grouchiness. That's how I've measured my hunger since surgery. So that's still what I really go by, it's just now I know its right around the corner once I start feeling the hunger pangs in my stomach.

Awwww Shanny... while I'm glad to hear you and your SO are back together I do kinda worry a bit about your state of mind. I see you have "be easy" in your sig line. Well, you've gotta do that for yourself. I think there are a lot of us who go through some type of identity crisis with the new "us". Be patient with yourself and if someone loves you enough they will be patient with you too. Hugs and blessings...

To all getting sleeved... WELL WISHES!! You are going to love the results of this wonderful surgery. Maybe some won't right away, but you will eventually appreciate it. Sip, walk, rest and repeat.
