Not sure if this is in the correct spot but I have a new problem. I was banded April 12 2007 and I have lost 35 lbs. I am starting to notice that I am losing hair. I notice hair everplace now. I have alot of hair so I really don't notice it on my head but it is coming out and I am getting worried about it this has gone on for a month or more now. I read that this can be a problem in rapid weigh loss but I don't think 35 lbs in 4 month is too rapid. I take my vitamins and have protien at all meals and have a shake everyday. Does anyone have this problem and if so what has it been like for you? How much protien should I get to keep this from happing? I asked my Doctor about Protien but he was not real clear and that was before I noticed the hair loss. Thanks :help:

be paticiant brother....i still forget sometimes....try and do it with her...when we go out and eat we share meals now...makes it better for me aswell and a whole lot cheaper....just be their it will be hard but your married that can be hard too.

Tracy, I have seen your picture on Malley's site now here. My husband wrote this one but I wrote you on Malley the other day and no answer yet. So I am wondering we live In Lansing ks I see you live in Leavenworth. I also noticed you or your husband work Federal so I am just wondering where you work. I know you are excited about Surgery on the 26th I was two weeks ago at Menoriah also nice place. Im doing good so far. Good luck to you. Karen

I was banded on 4/12/07 and have lost 13lbs also. I did not have any real problems after suregery. I think this is normal at first any diet you loss more at first. I have not lost for the last two days stayed the same. Good Luck. karen

MyPOV I know I was just banded on 4-12-07 and think of food all the time. I have been on liquids and it is hard. I also felt sad and lonely like food was a friend or something. Everday that gets better so far. I am wondering when you are at restriction like people say what is a normal day of food as far as how much can you eat at one time. I would like to see a sample of someones day maybe. Thanks

Sharon, Thanks for the response. I guess that before you get a fill you can eat more but I am not since I don't know what is to much. I am calling in the morning to see what I can eat this week. The Dr. was out of town after my surgery so my first appointment is two weeks after surgery not one. Now I am eating mashed potaoes and Soup. I am sort of afaird of the first fill since it sounds like you can not eat anything after that. Do you use the Malley website? This one has alot more information on it for sure. Karen

Sweet-tooth, What is stones compaired to pounds? I have heard this a few times on this web site but never before. I don't know about Ireland but would love to my mothers family came from there. Sharon, I was banded by Dr. Malley on 4/12/07 things are going okay just stated the soft food. I have my first appointment on the 27th of April hope he will add more food but not sure. How is eating going for you? Karen
