I am so excited for you KCamp.

I had the date since I started the process. My surgeons office schedule all six months of appointments right away. February 6th it is!! I start liquid diet next WednesdayFebruary 6th will be here quickly. I think it will feel real once I get a surgery date. My emotions are all over the place. The waiting is so hard.

Hi Alex, How are you doing? I had my Endoscopy this morning and it was a breeze. It seemed like I had a really peaceful nap. It didn't seem like anything happened except for sleeping. The only proof I had of having a procedure were the pictures they gave me. Keep me posted on your progress.

Congratulations! Did you get a surgery date yet? I am hoping for mid February.

I am from the Allentown area. I had my Endoscopy today and it was a breeze. I was worried about it for nothing. I am hoping to have my surgery in mid February. I must wait until sleep study is done to get my surgery date.

Good luck with your pre op diet. You don't have much longer until surgery.

Hi Misty, The time until surgery will go fast.... Just use the time until then to learn as much as you can about this process. You will get a lot of information on this forum.

The Surgeon wants to get a look at my stomach prior to surgery. I am nervous because they go into your throat with a camera.

I did the psych evaluation and met with the nutritionist on the same day. I have my endoscopy on January 15th and I am really nervous.

I am so excited for all of us!

My weight has stayed the same since I met with my surgeon. I am having a hard time losing weight. He wants me to lose 15 pounds prior to surgery....I feel like I need to try my favorite foods for one last time. I am going to start eating less and start to exercise regularly. I meet with my surgeon for an Endoscopy in 2 weeks and I would like to be down a few pounds by then.

Hi ReaRaes, I will get back to eating healthy and exercising on Thursday also. It is so hard because even after the holidays someone at work is always celebrating something....they celebrate because it is Monday....they celebrate because it is Tuesday....they celebrate if it is Wednesday....it is just an excuse for us to have a luncheon and have cake. I will no longer partake in these celebrations. I will just wish them happy Monday, happy Tuesday, happy Wednesday and keep walking while enjoying my delicious protein shakes. Lol!

Hi ReaRaes, I still need to do a sleep study....they did not require one prior to submitting to insurance....I have one scheduled in mid January....they require if I need a cpap machine that I take it with me to the hospital. I also have my endoscopy scheduled in January...I am so excited about this journey. It must be hard baking all of the goodies for your customers. Just think how different we will look and feel at this time next year. Please keep me posted on you progress.

Mine was submitted to insurance today....I am hoping for a fast approval so I can hopefully have my surgery scheduled in February.
