Feeling sad, embarrassed, cranky, frustrated....I haven't had no restriction since surgery and I was hoping my first filling (2cc) would help and it did for only two days!!! I'm always hungry and weak so I eat and eat some more!! I'm embarrassed with the people that know about my surgery because I feel like a failure, specially since I'm self paid!!! I am cranky frustrated and sooo discouraged! Is there hope for me?!?!?!?!?!?!

I can relate to your experience! I just had surgery Aug 19 and just a few days after it, I was eating everything! I was constantly hungry and confused, wondering what had gone wrong..... I had no restriction!!!! I finally went in for my first filling and after telling my experience to the dr he explain to me that the reason why I had no restriction was because I was a smaller person (my bmi is only 35 weighing 175) and needed a filling to have some restriction! He was right, I only got 2cc but (which was a piece of cake) I feel good!!!! Now, I understand that in fact everybody experiences are different!!!! Ultimately, we need to hang in there and not give up too quick!!!! Unlike other journeys, mine is going to be a slow one but I am hopeful, believing that I will finish strong!!!! Hello. I had lap band surgery Aug 19th this year! Unfortunately my experience hasn't been a successful one! I have no restriction and find my self hungry and eating all the time, haven't lost any weight instead I've gained some : (!! I don't understand why?!?? Today I go for my first filling, hoping this will help!!! Any one experience this?!
