I can relate to all of your stories havent been skinny in my life have no energy no libido( sorry if its tmi!) dont tk pictures anymore cant play with my boys10,5 and 3 its tough the embarrasing situation of me at a store and one of the employees without me asking tells me to go to the plus size section cause thats were my "size" was and i couldnt fit on a ride either today its my 29th bday an i refuse to keep missing life beacuse of my weight no more!!!! Hello everybody! As i have post in the past my surgeon has sooo many requirements for rny that its been taking a toll on me anyways so the new thing now is that i posted that i needed to have a cpap machine so i can have pulmonary clearance and move up to the second consult wich is submit to insurance and all that so now i need to have a recording data that im using the machine before i see him!!? What!?? Now the thing is i just cant stand the machine im claustrophobic and i feel that im choking with the mask on i dont know what to do i didnt know this was going to be like this so many hoops to jump!! Is this normal? The constant air going through your mouth? I just cant seem to get adjusted to sleep with this thing on and if dot have this documented im screwed! any experience with autopap or cpap? I would appreciate it thanks! Karla

Thanks to all of of you for your responses and advice to answer the questions the company they set me up with came home set it up andthat was it they just asked if i was amouth breather wich i am and to read the manual wich is no help dont know what to do all the air and me breathing at the same time is an awkward feeling feels like im choking my mouth is dry know that it is for my health but is a really uncomfortable feeling more than all the restless nights gotta make it work and find out if being a newbie on the machine maybe im doing something wrong

Hey i just need to vent!! this process is getting tooo loong for me at this point evrything is done got cleareance from evrything all my tests done so now i have sleep apnea an im waiting for a cpap machine so i call my surgeons office to schedule my second consult to keep things moving and now i have to be a crrtain amount of time using the cpap and have that documented so i can see the surgeon but that wasnt in the checklist they gave me i didnt know that using the machine had had anything to do with my second consult im just worried by the time i use the machine im going to gain the weight that i have lost so far and when the time comes hell be like oh! Another delay liquid diet for 4 weeks cause you have to lose weight just getting really anxious to get this over with cause i know when i get discouraged i fell off the wagon and the excitement fades away i think if by the end of the year i dont have a date im not gonna go through it sorry really sad right know just needed to let it out

Im preop waiting on my second consult i actually found this on the app store browsing rny for information never tought there was a forum like this i found it really educational cause its the real deal real ppl going through it sharing their stories and just for support im glad i found it cause i can take all of you with me whatever place i go i have you all as support even when the big day comes ill be god first!
