I am not for late term abortions and do not agree with abortions at all. I do believe a woman has a right to choose what she does with her body but when a baby is involved it is a little different. I have had an abortion and it killed me to do it but my daughter had a lot of health problems and would not have come to term. In fact her heartbeat was so slow they did not know if she would live through the week. I stll celebrate what was her due date, feb 9, 1992. My sister just had to go through the same thing for the same reason. I had a hard time helping her through it because I never have gotten over mine. It is a hard thing for anyone to do if they have a conscience like me. I can say I would do it all over again because my daughter was suffering. Robin:cry

It is good for me to hear from people who are having a good experiance with this because I tend to look on the bad side of things. i need the pos.

Hi all I was just recommended for surgery 3/3/07. I am so excited and cannot wait. I know this is the right decision but I am a bit scared as well. My goal weight is 150, the average weight for a persoon is 124-159, I am 5'6". I have DDD and my right knee is working its way to bone on bone. Loosing the weight will help both.

Thank you so much. I don't know what to think of all of this. I am so overwhelmed. I have been directed to a site where there are all of these horror stories about the procedure and the failure rate. something around 43% after 5 years will have put the weight back on. I hope we are all not in that percentage. God willing
