My doc put me on a strict 1200cal meal plan. We need to get away from saying "diet". It is not a diet it a way of life. Think about that

Hi all I am scheduled for surgery sometime in January. I am starting to get things together so that I am not rushed. I tend to wait until the last minute for everythimng but I want to be sure I am ready in plenty of time so I have less to freak out about. What do I need to do before I go. Anyone with a time line that would be great. Anyone with a to-do list or a list of what to pack. Gosh I am rambeling aren't I? HELP.....:help:

I am #7 of 11 kids. My parents have a healthy sex life . My siblings range in age from 43-3. I myself have 4 kids and love my husband deeply. He has mental hang-ups about sex. I am glad your husband is in the ARMY as my father just retired from 31 years in the ARMY 15 of which he was a Drill Sargent and since 2002 he was in charge of making sure that everyone in the Western US that was heading out to war was battle ready. We actually have a very loving marriage and I would not give him up for all of the sex in the world. I just miss having sex.

I have two and one planed for after I get to my goal weight. 1. On my right ankle "Un Amor Por Vida" in the shape of a hollow circle to represent the unending love I have for DH along with "Jose" in the center and barbed wire going around the ankle. 2. On my left ankle "Still Missing My Hero" again in the shape of a hollow circle with "3" in the center. The 3 is for Dale Earnhardt and it is red for Jr. The last part of that tat I haven't done yet,but ,I want to put something to represent his 7 championships. 3. I want a tat on my lower back that says "SMOKE" in the colors of the #20 Home Depot Chevy Monte Carlo driven by "Smoke" himself Tony Stewart. For those of you who watch NASCAR and know NASCAR it is the smoke symbol with the wisps of smoke coming off of it.

I don't know how the G&C works but I am feeling a change in the mornings. I also have Degenerative Disc Disease in my lower back and a bad hip both of which are from the skating.

I have been using Motrin for flair ups but having read the post about NSAIDs I don't want to use it that much and want to start weaning myself off. I also use Glucosamine and Condroiton(sp?). That has really been helping. I can walk much better in the morning.

New years Resolution: STICK WITH IT Don't give up.

I need a total knee replacement but I am still to young. I plan on just trying to stay at the same temp inside and out because it really only flairs up in the cold and rain. I was a figure skater when I was young and did a lot of damage to my landing knee.

how do you like this funny weather. It wants to rain at night but not in the day. It is cold in the evening warm during the day and cold at night. I wish it would make up its mind. This type of weather messes with my arthritis.

I don't know when my surgery is just that it will be in January. I am waiting for the OR schedule to open up. I am so excited. It seems like far away but with the golidays here it will fly by, you wait and see. The longest time will be from Jan 1- Jan 8.

That is my question... How does your body know when to stop loosing weight. Does anyone have any insight for me?

I am class of 91. Manogue closed at the end of the 90 school year so we all went our own ways. I went to McClatchy in 89 and graduated in 91. Were any of you around Manogue from 87-89 or McClatchy 89-91? I would love to hear from you. :whoo:

I completely agree with you Green, but she needs to understand that things can be hurtful to others even if they are made of ignorance or in fun. I am not here to police anyone, I was trying to tell her that words can be hurtful. After being married almost 13 years I couldn't tell you the last time I was alone and naked with my husband at the same time. At 19 it all seems so important but when you get older you realize there is more to a relationship than that. I am not looking for sympathy for my husband or daughter. I was looking to open her eyes to other reasons why a man may not want it.

I understand what you are saying and I do apologize to anyone I offended by what I said. Intamacy is a very hard thing for some to deal with. My husband and I love eachother very much and he does not want me to have the surgery for fear of loosing me on the table. Like many here he has no plans to leave the relationship he just does not like intercourse, and understandably so. I just have my treasure trunk.

Write down every question you have. I forgot them all when I was in front of the doc and had to email him with questions.

Thank you Ghost. Until you have been molested you can never imagine what it has been like for someone that has and the emotional damage it does to them for the rest of their life. My husband cheated on me. People ask why I stayed with him. He did not do it to hurt me or to cause any pain to the marriage but simply could not help himself. people like him have a screwed up vision of what sex is, he could have sex with you 100 times and not have any feelings for you . He and I have never had a relationship based on sex, even when he was and I was 17. We only had sex a few times before he turned 18 and none at all on our wedding night. I have been with him for a long time and understand him, that does not mean that I don't miss him next to me.

I am pre-op and have lost a lot of weight. my problem is the more weight I loose the bigger my breasts get. I started out a 42DD and now I am a 44E. I thought you were supposed to loose breast mass not gain it. They are so heavy. Anyone else out there with this problem? Will it reverse itself ? Please let it reverse itself.:help:

I agree completely. I was a small A cup until I had my son. Then over night I went to a DD and never went down again. I breast fed him until he was mo old and then he went to the cup. My daughters were another story. Annie was 2 when she quit nursing and I was nursing Eli and Mary Elizabeth both together for mo Eli was almost 2 when I got her to quit and MaryElizabeth didn't quit until almost 3. So for years of my 16 years of being a parent I have had someone attached to my nipples. No wonder they are pancakes.

In that abuse he had to endure anal rape and forced "blow jobs" as you put it. Two years ago we found out that our 14 year old son was forcing our 10 year old daughter into giving him oral sex. Do you really think my husband wants anyone in that area of his body. My husband and I do not have sex because he was really messed up from what his brother did to him and then finding out what his son did to his daughter. My main problem with my boobs, other than they are to big, is that they are flat as a pancake after I take off my bra. They look great in a bra but oh my when I take off that bra my kids could hide under them :heh:and never be found. I would love to have them put back where they belong.
