Thanks ladies! I'm on my 2nd clear liquids only day and it's rough! I've cried about 4x today for no real reason. I m starving and nothing sounds good..... And I haven't gotten my protein in today. I'm about to shower then drink something, and hopefully I can convince myself I'm satisfied. The first 12 days were a piece of cake compared to this. And I lost 20 lbs to boot!! Thanks for the well wishes and I'll talk to y'all from the sleeved side.

My sx is tomorrow so I'm on Clear liquids only today. So I used unflavored Protein and mixed it with beef bouillon. It was ok. Kinda ehhh, but I suspect more because I want food more than any thing related to the protein. FYI adding a little sf banana pudding to chocolate or vanilla protein powder is heavenly!!!! So very yummy. Good luck

Thick'nThin. Thanks for the info. I stopped and bought some on Friday and noticed it was half price, but didn't question why. We really like it so, I better go grab a couple more while they're available. Thanks for the tip!!!!! Btw, I add a tiny bit f crystal light lemonade powder to boot the flavor just a bit!!!!

Kizm..... It really depends on your physicians directions. I.m on day 12 of a 14 day pre op diet. I was allowed 2 protein shakes daily, soup as 1meal, and sf jello, sf pudding, ff cottage cheese or ff Greek yogurt. I have not cheated AT ALL. It's a miracle!!!! And honestly been really difficult, but it will be so worth it!!! Plus, I'm down 18 lbs, and start 2 days of clear liquids only tomorrow. Come on Monday!

Hi all, My hubby and I are both in the pre-op phase and are awaiting approval. I'm just curious if anyone else out there is an Autozone employee with the PPO plan. And if so, how long it took for you to get your approval. Thanks!

Woohoo !!!!!!! The hubby and I are both approved!!!! Praise The Lord. I meet with my surgeon in the am to get my EGD results and hopefully schedule my surgery. Then we'll schedule my hubby for November. I am so excited to start my new life.

Prerequisites were BMI 40+, or 35+ with 1 comorbidity. psych eval, nut consult, pulmonary function test and EKG. We've completed all and are now awaiting approval.... The wait seems interminable! Surgeon also requires an EGD which we have scheduled. We can't schedule surgery until we get the approval, so I'm chomping at the bit for that approval!

My hubby and I are both pre-op and awaiting approval. He was submitted for approval today, and I'm hoping to be submitted by mid-week. We're meeting with our surgeon on 9/26, and I can't wait!!!
