  2. You are all the greatest this is the best information. So I gather that my water intake is to low. Well let the flood gates begin. Thank you.
  3. In the past 3 days I have gained 3 lbs. al though this is my first week eating food should I expect this? Also the area where the port is very tender and sore is this normal or should I be concerned?
  4. I am starting to wonder if I even need a first fill. I can only take a few bites and then I am full. Even with eating slow.
  5. Tried eating eggs this morning with just a few bites I became nauseated. Does this mean I have eaten to much? Also can you eat spinach? and fruits in the 4th week? Helppppppp.
  6. The walking will help each time walk a little further. I also used a heating pad and phazyme for gas it works better than gas x. They are small and easy to swallow. Warm liquid in the morning helps to get the gas pains moving from over night. Good Luck.
  7. Lisa, I have tried small red potatoes, beets, and chicken salad. I just want to compile a good list of options so I don't get bored and then begin to eat things I should not.
  8. I am 4 weeks post op and each week has been a challenge. I have waited 4 whole week to eat something with texture that now that I am able to I am so afraid to eat the wrong things. I am not sure if certain foods will get stuck or if there are certain foods that should just not be eaten ever again. On the other side of the fear I have lost 23 lbs in the last 4 weeks. ( yay me) This is where I need a little help, After surgery I was given a very small list of food options for week 4, can anyone give food Ideas that worked for them.

    Freaking out a little bit...

I am 4 weeks post surgery, I was unsure all the way up to surgery and even after. I remember calling the Doctors office saying what did I do ( I hungry I want to eat food, I'm not going to be able to do this.) of course they laughed and said you will be fine and encouraged me to call any time I needed too. ( and I have). I didn't know anyone that had had the surgery either, but, I did a lot of praying and decided that this was not for vanity but for health reasons and decided to wrap my arms around it and adjust. I will say the surgery is the easy part. Make sure you follow the instructions to the tee. Prepare to do a lot of walking It helps with the gas pains. Do all of your grocery shopping before the surgery. It makes it easier. Four weeks after I have already lost 23 lbs. Still a little nervous about not knowing all the right this to eat, but feeling a lot better about my decision. Good Luck tomorrow!
