Thats right Seppi, just try not to swallow it! I remember several months ago when someone on here accidentally swallowed her gum - she was terrified! Someone told her to eat some peaut butter (it helps dissolve gum) - before long she felt it pass!
-
Nicole, at that time of the day - it must have been hotter then HELL! Im impressed, cause most docs never want to break a sweat.

Hi Phyllis! On Monday's, just post your current weight. LaMadam actually strated the original one. Everyone was complaining about not losing any weight. So the challenge was started to show us that we ARE losing, we just cant see it on a daily weigh in, but we CAN see it on a weekly or bi-monthly weigh in. Oh, and Jonathan has a web site that he adds our names, starting weight, current weight and goal weight. Seems easier to keep track of!
-
awe Kelly girl, thanks!!! You cant really see it in the picture, but yesterday I had some blonde streaks added to my hair. I need to get a close up to show you! Jenna, those pictures are real life at my house. LOL Btw, since you are NOW a size 14, we need current pics! Great pic phyllis! Glad you joined in on the picture fun!

Crystal, Why -in the world- are you so camera shy???? You are beautiful! <<insert DeLarla's Woof here>>
-
Penni, those ARE beautiful. About the second one... are you Indian decent?

I have! Couple of times actually. we were on a road trip traveling on I-10, going about 73mph. Didnt have much warning with this one. I asked Mike to get me something (I was driving), but it was too late. another time was just the other day. I was running errands and felt the urge. I turned into a residential neighborhood to open my van door and let it go into the street, but there was some dude cutting his grass. So I drove (flew) down the street (so he wouldnt be suspecious) and there was a kid (teen) riding a bike. Im having a moment here and cant find a private spot to pb in! Finally! I made it to a secluded area just in time.

Penni, that tree IS beautiful. Its the background that makes it so eye catching. And I have NO idea why this dufus (DH) NEVER smiles in pics! I just reviewed ALL the male pics on this thread and all of them have smiles - except for him! *rolling my eyes* Esmerelda, GIRL! You are a knock out! *Im making a formal request for you to change your avator pic to the new one* Lisa, loved all the pics, but my favorite is the last one! I even laughed out loud.

This is for those of you that never exercise (like me)! Ive been banded nearly a year now. NEVER exercised. Oh, maybe I would get motivated here and there, but never lasted more then 2 weeks. Well, summer started and I wanted to get my bat wings looking spify! So every day I started doing aerobics in the pool (my parents have one). No special techniques. No special Water exercises. Just plain ole jumping jacks with arm lifts above the water. I would time myself for 1 minute then change arm movements for another minute. Before long I had been exercising for 10 minutes. That was pretty much my maximum time limit! I did this for about... yep, 2 weeks! The results? I lost inches - from everywhere. But especially the upper arm area. 2 weeks worth of exercising and what a difference it made!
-
Betty, Since we went on vacation, THEN we moved, I cant seem to get myself back into a routine. I guess me posting this thread is to kick my own butt into high gear and start exercising again. I was totally amazed at what a little exercising did to this big momma! I even worked myself up to using filled 20 oz Water bottles as arm weights. Anyway, I went yesterday to exercise and found myself back to square one. 10 minutes and no water bottles. Are you doing any special exercises? Or just continusely moving aound?
-
As soon as I was home! Like the others, I just let the Water run over my belly and focused washing on other areas.

1st fill, it just doesn't feel right...worried

Hamu, First off, stay clear of tomato soup for the next week. Tomato's are acidic and could cause stomach problems. Also *avoid* like the plague, advil! Thats an ansaid product and could lead to future problems with your band. You have a higher level of perseverance, cause I wouldve called my sugeon back by now and asked for his opinion on this. Are you better today? Try sipping on warm broth and see what happens. *please* let us know! -
Here's my three! Seeing them together like this just makes my heart melt. Arent they fun?
-
WOW!!! What a great NSV. Who the heck cares what the scales say when you have something like that happen.

-
AMEN Crystal! Just like Penni told me once - "If they dont like the way I look - then dont look at me!" no shorts or capris if your are more than a size 6 ???? that wipes out 3/4 's of the American women!
-
L O V E the pics!!!! Hope to keep em' coming from ALL over! Isnt Penni so pretty? Not many of us are blessed enough to not wear all that goop on our face (Im one!) - but Penni looks so good w/o makeup! And look at those demples!!! These pics made me smile! Thanks for sharin' em Lisa!
-
WOW! Both of you look FANTASTIC! Lisa, I deleted the "other" post - you must have posted the front facing picture moments before I posted mine! Therefore, I take back calling you a chicken shit! Is your hair blonde on the outside and dark on the inside? Looks GREAT!
-
Hey Kathy, just keeping you in prayer. Im here if you need me... God bless!
-
LOL... Kathy, you are too funny! The tank-top/cami thing is supposed to be losely fitted, but not skin tight. And about the capri's... you have to be comfortable in what you are wearing! But to back up the idea, nobody ever really pays attention to that portion of your legs... especially if you have some cute flip flops to go along with them. (I know, Zoe hates capri's too ) but heck, its alot cooler then wearing those heavy jeans! And the flip flop idea... ok, this summer I am flip flop momma! Bright yellow pair from KMart, 4 cool colors from Target and the list goes on... some are really comfy - and cheap! No more then 5 bucks a pair! (flip flops are not for everyone) And hey - what about a pic styling those new threads for us????
