I think its the Marcer Mayer Little Critter series books that I found one called "The New Baby". I thought it would be helpful when we had our #2. We read it to Marcus MANY time before Animal Marie was born. Although nothing helped us prepare our home for her arrival. He told me the other day that his life used to be GREAT, until she Anne Marie came along. Let Eli enjoy baby Sam while he can.... better days are yet to happen. oh, and about the distance thing. Its hard. It really is. Just when he warms up to you, its time for you to come home.

Heather - great minds think alike! I recently inquired about private instructions here in my area.... just me and hubby would be there. I dont think Mike (my DH) would do a video at home. Kids wanting to "help", phone ringing, clothes to put to dry, dinner waiting to be made, etc.... you know! Over in my neck of the woods, our instructor is charging $25 a lesson, and based on US, we determine how many lessons we need. Some need 2 lessons and have enough to make it happen, others like the challenge and continue on to competitions. Me and Mike just want to learn enough to have fun on the weekends. I lOvE to dance. Great excercise too! Let me know what you find.

I never made the connection between WLS and collar bones... ??? not sure IF there is one. I think its just the way our bodies are made. I met a -102 pounder RNY patient, and didnt notice her collar bones. And she and I weigh about the same thing right now. hmmmm.....

AMEN! Megan, I love this thread. I can relate too. Funny how we are used to people looking at us then judging if they need to move out of our way. The looks are definately different NOW! I never realized how much my weight had me in a shell.

awe Francesca, ((hugs)) I really wish I had something to offer you. But without MY band, my scale would be doing the same as yours. Penni is going with Nutra-system (I hope she doesnt mind me sharing her business) - and my cousin just started going there as well. She has lost 7 pounds in 2 weeks... this may be an option for you? I suggest diet pills - but alot of folks are offended by this suggestion. This is something we are all in together - banded or unbanded!
