Mary, I am SO sorry to hear this. Im sending prayers your way... and whats the chances that he would get another job - FAR away. Thats the problem you know... he's never left home. (((((BIG HUGS))))) what a hard situation.
-
Betty ~ my idea of unrolling the exten. cord is taking it off the hook and dropping it on the floor. My guts busted on this one.... b/c Ive heard it myself. Mike chews tobacco. He stands over the trash can to insert this crap in his mouth. When he's finished, there is tobacco ALL over the floor around the trash can. Guess what he does? Swipes it with his foot and walks away. ...and whats the deal with guys and remote controls?

Hey Michelle... hows the Hoodia working???? I told my friend about it and she went and bought some today at the local health food store. She and I found ANOTHER reason to try hoodia.... http://www.vitaminlife.com/product-exec/PNAME/Hoodia_Gordonii__Lab_Authenticated_/product_id/44995 in this link, this is what it says...In addition to eliminating hunger and suppressing the appetite Hoodia also seems to boost energy levels and counteract depression, some folks even report aphrodisiac-like qualities. The efficacy of Hoodia Gordonii has been established with a profound weight loss and a good emergent safety profile. Ok, this sounds too good to be true. A pill that has it ALL. Eliminates hunger, gives energy, helps fight depression AND boost the sex drive????? Im out the door... going buy a case of it. :bananajump:

Hey Big Dog ~ glad to have you around! :yo: We definately need more Roosters in the Hen house. One thing - where the heck have you been the for the past 2 years? Your "join date" says April 04... ??? Great lookin family you have!
-
How I wish I had this kind of support group in my area.... you guys are awesome!
-
Penni, I love you girl! And this board would not be the same without you or any of the other de-banded "sisters"... and thats what you are! (Thank you Kathy) I remember when Michelle found out about her erosion, then you, THEN Lisa! My first and on-going thoughts were... (selfishly) I hope they stay with LBT! I have a different connection with each one of you - just like real family members - and the thoughts of you guys not feeling comfortable hanging out here wouldve affected my own feelings about LBT. Glad you stayed! Reading about all the erosions Ive realized that each of us are on our own journey. Yes, we have each other for support, but its still an individual walk. God bless you ~ and I truly mean that! ((hugs))

Hi Lauren! Yes, this is normal. Once you start solids - before the first fill - its ALL about head work. Just trying to maintain the initial weightloss is the biggest challenge at this point. Good luck Girl! Weve all been there.... its gets easier after that fill!
-
ok - Im grossed out! Did any of you look at some of the other links? Just b/c Mike plays guitar, I watched the "guitarmaster" one. I was impressed.
-
Well, its not actually hurricane proof, but it will do great IF we have any flooding. Not sure how our 2 cats will handle this transition. But I think the kids will enjoy it... I think! :nervous
-
My dog is named Claire. Maybe THATS whats wrong with her...???
-
I like all the "e" ends.... Hailey, Bailey, etc. What about "Baby" (another "e" ender)? She's a cutie.
-

Good one Vera - I never thought of that one. Another reason to LOVE my new home. me too! You know how much Im a sun worshiper! WOW! Gonna be a great place for getting my rays. Susan, I think you are a wee bit jealous. Shame Shame on you! and dont you just love the swing? Gives it a personal touch.

Buck, you are right!!! And you have an awesome fight here. Have you tried to appeal your insurance comp - maybe they would reconsider? -
:welcome: Hi Mary! I agree, I would be just as frustrated AND concerned. When you got your last fill, did they suction the old fill out before adding the new one? And it was the correct amount in your band? (Im looking for a leak in the tubing) hmmmm, Im with you ~ something isnt right. If you have the 4cc band, then a 3.8cc fill should have you EXTREMELY restricted. So you go again on Monday - make sure you get her attention!! You are NOT a freak - this is a legimate reason to be mad! Please keep us posted. ((hugs))

 Yeahhh Andy ~ You got it!!! Feels good to be on the other side of the fence. You are experiencing what EVERYONE banded wants to feel! Now, since Im jealous that YOUVE got it and I dont, please pass youre extra portionsthis way.

WARNING - ***hijack*** Michelle, I walked to my neighbors house about an hour ago. Shes elderly - nearly blind and deaf. I had to ask her a question. After I asked her the question, she asked me who I was. Her words, "You are Paula?? What happened to you... the last time I saw you - you were FAT!" Your sons comment remindind me of this. We are thankful for honesty, eh?

Funny... I get the same freaky feeling when I hear this and change the channel REAL fast! I remembered another one (if anyone cares). Heights. Sat night we were sitting waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up high in the coliseum (sp?) - SO high that I coud see the wooden planks under the padded ceiling. :nervous
-
Hi Crys... just thinking about ya! Any results yet???
-
Jess, Sometimes it takes "trying" several different brands before finding the right medication. For your sake, I hope and pray that this is the right one! Good luck!
-

thinking about life after erosion (band removal) -for me- is like thinking about stuffing a butterfly back into a cocoon. I never wanna go back to where I started. So Im just as scared as anyone else... and Ill do what ever I can to not gain it back. nutrasystem or whatever else it takes!
