back to square one... IF a thread has been deleted and YOU feel the need to continue the discussion, just start another one.... like JanetC did with the Scar stages. Life went on. This hasnt ever been an issue before, like Kathy was saying - even in a larger scale of deleting episodes. I think its the recent newbies (2?) that thought it WAS a big deal (regards to Vines thread) and started inquiring about it. Now these changes have to happen?? Other then Alexandra, Id really like to hear what the other moderators have to say about this. Betty, Penni, Kellymoos..... whats your thoughts?

Threads that are created in the Lounge -usually- have NOTHING to do with Lap Banding. I like the freedom of having Lounge conversations/opinions and deleteing it after the thread had met my need. Whether its a day or a week later. The threads started in those places (mainly the Lounge) have no educational purpose for this forum. So why not allow things to remain the same in at least this section of LBT? Basically Im with Kathy - I also like things the way they were. :nervous This has never been a problem in the past. :Banane56:

Megan - you are so pretty girl! My DL is up for renewal in Sept. Its gonna be a MAJOR change - seeing that I was 9 months preg. with my second child when I had the last DL picture taken.

This thread got me thinking of how old I was when I started babysitting. 11 maybe. I hate turing this thread into horrible babysitting stories, but I MUST tell this one: I was about 11 and my sister's friend needed a sitter for her kids while they attended her fathers funeral. So I went. I think it was abut the 3rd time I sat for her. She had a daughter about 2 1/2 yrs old - and her hair was real scragly and long. Unhealthy looking. So while they were at the funeral, I CUT her daughters hair. Well, it was a trim actually. I snipped about an inch off. I remeber her calling my mom the next day - crying. My mom apoligizing over and over. I never babysat for her again. AND never cut anyone elses hair again. ok, sorry y'all. back to topic!

Kathy, I was glad to see him go. He and Kelly shouldve hooked up, you know? They both thought alot of themselves. Cheri, Taylor and Elliot left standing... I like that. Elliot is well rounded - he can sing just about everything. I can see him as the next American Idol. Yea, he lacks in the "feeling the song" field, but geez, it usually takes most of these successful artist YEARS to accomplish that.

i know, you hate quoting Strawart, but... the reason the "Scar Stages" thread was deleted was b/c of this exact reason. The starter had someone reappear in her life - and found her through LBT. SO she deleted all her replies and threads. again, Id like things to remain the same. have I said this already? Alexandra, if the other side should win, what about allowing the "deleting thread" feature only in the Lounge?

Susan, I agree. This IS a special place. Especially those of us that post often and have really shared so many secrets. We've all grown so close. LBT is simply amazing. And I love all of you too.

So $3.00 bucks a gallon for gas to and from Colorado, plus hotel fees... hmmm. Im weighing the option of the cost of an airline ticket verses gas expenses.
