Momabear, WELCOME to LapBandTalk! I had MY surgery when my kids were 8, 3 and 1 years old. The fear of not being an active parent or possibly dying at a young age due to obesity related problems was a bigger fear for me then having the LapBand surgery. I have never never never regretted having WLS. NEVER! Just wish I wouldve done something sooner. Good luck!

Diane, Maybe we celebrated this moment somewhere else, but did you just hit ONEderland? :biggrin1: as far as the fickle band goes, this happens to me (crazy increase of restriction) a day or two before my cycle. Im keeping up with this thread cause Im interested in trying it too.

My MIL had her stomach stapled a million years ago. She uses the meat tenderizer (Adolphs brand only) when she feels something is "stuck". She said that it works on everything - not just meat. Ive never had the gumption (balls!) to try it.

I HATE this damn dog....

Yes! But it took a while after my second fill for me to be able to do it. I guess I loosened up. ??? I chug water all the time, as long as the water is room temp. If the water is ice cold - then I have to take it slower.

awe Sherri, (((((((((HUGS))))))))) As nervous as YOU are - I bet your guy is dealing with his own issues over all of this. Surgery alone is a big deal, and going to Mexico for it brings it to another level of stress. Hang in there. It'll all be over before you know it.

Jan, OMG! I cant believe nobody else has ever given us this idea. What an AWESOME treat this would be. I cant wait to try it! :clap2:
-
JJB, Glad you like it! But - WE WANT TO SEE IT!!! LOL please?

BUMPING for the evening crew.... I agree with Pat - EVERY woman should watch this video. Thanks Sandy. Amy, how horrible. You know of TWO women that had/have THIS type of cancer? Gosh, its obviously not as rare as people think.

At our house, boys have Wackey's and girls have Tootie's. My 3 yr old is OBSESSED with playing with his private area... waaay more then his older 2 siblings ever were. Whats REALLY unique is seeing him Water down the entire comode, seat & tank when he's peeing. Gross-ola!

Hi clarityseeker, and WELCOME to LapBandTalk.com Do you know if your insurance will cover it this time? This seems to be the million dollar question around here. Good luck.
-
Hi Kathi and WELCOME to our little home. This place has lots of goods readings. Some things are good, some not! Just ask if you need any directions. God bless!

I have just a plain one. LOVE it, when its lit. But I tend to forget about it. Penni, I dug around on the site and saw that the price of a regular one (Im assuming the one like Roni was talking about, 6-8 inches tall) was only around $35. not bad.

Hey Kim, just remember - you gotta go through Louisiana to get to Texas. Im ALWAYS open to company - especially those with kiddos! I just dont do pets... I have enough of my own.

How funny! I can certainly hold-my-own in a talking contest! Speaking of phone calls, have you talked to Kelly lately? She's been on my mind. MoOrLess, our answers were nearly the same. :biggrin1: neat-o!

Take a walk, call a friend, go to my parents and visit, go to Walmart. I dunno. What about computer games? Rollercoaster Tycoon is SO addicting, but neat. I have 3 kids, Trish :tired . Very seldom do I ever get bored :tired .

Hey Kelly, Here's a thread that has really good stuff in it about fill levels. There is a link on the very first post (by Penni) that will help YOU determine if you need another fill. Good luck. http://lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=3733&highlight=do+I+need+a+fill%3F
