my son's piano teacher has been wanting me to try it. So yesterday she gave me 2 samples, one of the coffee and one of the cocoa mix. ok, I admit, Im leary. Has anyone on LBT ever heard of ganoderma? (its a chinese herb they use in tea) http://www.cafeganocoffee.com/ Here's the link incase anyone wants to check it out. His teacher is swearing that this stuff is a cure to many of her ailments...

So 1 cup of mini wheat thins has 5 gm's of fiber - and the benefiber chewables has 1 gm per tablet. (recommended dosage is 3 at a time) hmmmmmm...... The mini wheat thins may be the better choice here (certainly less money)

Kristi, wait a minute - Youve lost 26 pounds in 6 weeks!!!!! Girl, thats NOT slow. It took me about 4 months to lose 25 pounds. You are doing great... probably better then most of us here did at our 6 week point. Keep in mind that we didnt put on this weight overnight, and its not coming off overnight! Good luck and hang in there - youre doing awesome!

HI Jazell, dont worry, it'll pass! Soon, you wont think about it... other thoughts will consume your mind, like hunger. Then you'll be wondering if there really is something in your body. I remember the first time I felt my port under my skin, it kinda freaked me too. We go through mental phases as well as food phases, and in a month (after your first fill) you arent going to be giving this much thought. I promise!

Good ole' Marie to the rescue... thanks for that info! I wonder how many grams of fiber are in a handful of mini-wheats? Kaleigh, Ive been chewing 2 before my protien shake in the morning. Becareful, too many too quickly may cause stomach trouble! Gradually increase.

Crystal, just wondering... everyone has a story. When did you start practicing paganism? and why? (gosh, I hope I dont get slammed for this question)
-
ahhh, what kind of powers do you have, Crystal???

ok, I just called my mommy dearest and had her read the article to me so I could jot down notes... The article also said that fiber speeds the passage of food through your digestive tract, allowing less time for calories to be absorbed. Also, more fiber means fewer cravings b/c it stabolizes the blood suger. The article suggested that we have at least 35 mg's of fiber a day... phew, were all gonna be running to the bathroom!
-
Bright, most likely so! I bought mine at Walmart, just a regular supermarket should have it. chewable wafers.... just a big chewable tablet, about the size of the tip of your thumb. The article also said that Fiber helps.... hang on, let me see if I can pull it up before I say something untrue

Lisa, I love you girl and I love your spunk, but for the life of me, I can't understand why you continue this crusade when it is so plainly fruitless and hurtful to so many others.
