Was banded 9/26 and I am back to work tomorrow not to thrilled. I think I am ready physically just not too stoked about the stress that my job entails. Or the 12 hr shift I have Thursday but the upside I get the weekend off and I get to start pureeds tomorrow!

Also maybe look into the foods your are eating. Before my first consultation with my doctor, I was on a PPI religiously I could not function at all with out it. But that was three months ago and I am completely off my med and don't ever have reflux issues now. I have noticed that larger amounts of protein in my diet has helped this. Also eating things that are easier to digest decreases your stomachs need for digestive juices thus you have less acid to cause problems. High fiber!!

I am a Montana country girl, just banded on 9/26 I don't have the greatest support at home so I hoping someone here can fill in that gap.

Just remember why and who you wanted to do this for whether it was just yourself or a loved one you wanted to get healthy for. You have made a huge step towards greatness and the fact you are asking for help tells me you far better off than you feel you are. I hope you are feeling well and that you are able to reach your goals.

I know what you mean I was making macaroni and cheese for my daughter tonight and I wanted some so bad. I know I sip and sip then I guess I sipped too much cause my chest feels lots of pressure and I feel miserable. Half the time I don't know if I am even hungry or not but I smell and see foods and they look so good! I was trying to stay up and active but it seemed like every time I get up and do something I start to feel nauseous. But I only have one more day then back to work so I have buck up and just do it.

Yay. Have any problems so far? I have a cough that just won't quit. It is really deep and nagging and I am a little concerned. How are you feeling so far?

is your cough really deep and nagging and gets worse when you lay down? I am told by many that it is normal and it will go away but I am so nervous too.

I am doing really well. Still a little sore and I I have a horrible deep cough when a lay down which I am not sure if that is normal or not? I plan on calling the MD tomorrow. Thank you and I hope your surgery goes well too!

I know the no soda is so hard and beer too.

I was banded 9/26 and they said I might have cough for a couple days but it has been 4 days and it seems to just get deeper. I have to hold my incisions every time. Any one else have this happen?

Yeah I had endo tube for anesthesia but this cough is so deep I am bit worried by it.
