Seems to be working! I can't eat too much and I only get a little hungry between meals. My brain thinks I should eat more. How do u guys deal with psychologically wanting to eat more? It's weird!

I use Jay Robb whey protein. Mix it with almond milk. Yumm

I told people it was a Hiatal Hernia repair since they were going to do that anyway. I told 1 person at work who is very supportive. Its good to have at least 1 support at work who can keep secrets. I have lost 30lbs so far but no one has said anything yet. Probably because Im tall and it takes more to show on me. -

I am so hungry!! I am 8 days post op and all I want to do is eat. Liquids only now till Monday. This is miserable.

U were able to eat lean meat veggies and fruit? ?? I had to have 4 shakes 1 granola bar and soup. Just wait till after surgery when u can only have liquids and you are hungry because they haven't filled the band yet. Thats were Im at now. It sucks!!! Looking forward to Mushies. Good luck though. Its worth it!! I have lost 26lbs since my pre op diet! -
I can have pudding but how much pudding can a person eat. Im craving grilled chicken that my husband keeps making. The smell is killing me. Sometimes I make chicken broth and pretend it is chicken. What is Malt O Meal?

Hi everyone. I had my sugery last Tues. The first week was mostly me feeling strange and gassy. The liquid diet is challenging as well. So far I can tell I have lost weight. The pain has died down. When I stand up I can feel my stomach adjusting and a little pain. Hopefully it will be uphill from here!

Im 6 days post op. Im hungry with pain at port site. Im gassy too. Good to see others with similar experiences. The headache may be withdrawal from pain meds.
