Your doing gr8..I was really tearful for a while. I hated being hungry all the time..it felt just like a regular diet and they weren't a fabulous success (or I wouldnt be here) so wondered why I'd spent all that money! I did voice that and my band lady did fill quite aggressively. As long as things stay like this I won't be needing another fill for?? Possibly ever. When's your next fill scheduled? Hopefully not too long too wait... Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

Hi there, I lose between 8-14 llb every calendar month. Controlling hunger is a massive part to this working for me. Glad your team listened to your wishes..keep up the gr8 work. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

Hi fashionstylist!!! My band lady told me generally people with a 14 band find restriction around 8-10. No doubt there are huge variables. So depending on how your fill amounts your getting there... Keep rocking the fabulousness Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

Intelirish you'll always be my favourite girl..I'm saving already to come see you or get you here to paint ireland any colour you choose. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk -
I understand that. For me I find the lack of choice easier to live with. I have a small capacity now. I won't waste it on poor choices.. I find it makes things clean cut for me. But I acknowledge we are all unique. What works for one might not for another..glad your happy and doing well.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

No flames from me... Lol I only know because I have a plastic card thing given to me by my band providers. As I live abroad from where I get my aftercare (of sorts) I have to show it if I get ill or in an accident. Long way to go back if I have a problem.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

Where are you at fill wise? I have a 14 band with 9/5 in it.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

Whatever you do be honest with your healthcare providers if you still can't drink/sip.. Don't just go home. I didn't have an iv at all and left really early the following morning. I forced myself to sip. Still got really dehydrated felt awful. It took me a few days to manage to rehydrate myself.. I wouldnt want you to suffer like that.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

Congrats on the decision and being banded. Try lip balm to stop your lips cracking, I found sleeping really hard. Nowhere is like your own bed, Partly because I was uncomfortable and really excited if finally done it. As for not being able to drink watch that. Dehydration is awful. You do need to be able to at least sip.. Hang in there good luck.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

I felt no difference on my first fill at all.. I did however stop eating before I was full and always waited four hours before eating again and never snacked.. I also followed weight watchers meal plan so I lost some weight.. I did find it really super hard was miserable being hungry. Now I'm there in the green I understand why you have to experience these hard bits. preparing you for itty bitty portions and loads of chewing. The month will fly by if you stay positive.. Hang in there.. Try to rememberer it usually took some times to gain the weight. It takes time to shift it... Ps.. I'm sure there's no one dieting that didn't want more amazing, faster results. Thats the nature of the beast.. Imo Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

Dawlash, reading your posts inspired me to try on some older smaller clothes and some fit..you've started a craze.. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

You really can't go in the amount of fills. It would mean they had to be the same volume for everybody. You well get there soon. I wish I'd enjoyed eating while I still could. Although I feel full quickly and stay full I still mentally miss big dinner... Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

I'm mega allergic to adhesives. A product called eurax helped me as well as teatree. I had tape marks post surgery right where my bra sits even though I had an allergy band/bracelets on. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

I studied some nutrition when I qualified as a sports masseuse. In my knowledge aspartame affects you by causing people to crave sugars. As it gives a fake sugar rush. I would avoid it personally. I had dreadful trouble getting over sugar addiction. If hate to have to try again.. Only my opinion. Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk

JULY 2013 BAND BUDDIES
Zingythingy replied to sprinkle715's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Msgal congrats to you. fills are a piece of cake.. If I'm honest the last one hurt a bit more I thought the thinner I got it would sting/pinch less.. Not so. But I'm the big scheme nothing compared to all the skeletal and muscular misery I was in. glad your doing so well Frances Sent from my GT-S5830 using LapBandTalk -
I thought my first couple of fills were useless but actually they were more of a training tool. I ate slightly less each time, but had to do it more thoroughly and slower each time.. I'm now officially green (huge cheer) and I'd never have coped with out the practise. No more ooohh one more bite or snacking.. I'm full so fast. I hope this for you too...
