  1. My Doc doesn't tell me either, and I don't push for a number.... It's just another thing I'd compare myself to.... How much weight have they lost in this amount of time compared to me? How many fills have they had in this amount of time compared to me? How many cc's are in their band compared to me? I DON'T WANT TO BE LIKE THAT, but by nature, I tend to do just that!

    Can't seem to get back on track.

    Get a work out partner. Go to a therapist who specializes in people who have food addictions. Join a support group. Hang pictures of your 300+ self on your frig/pantry. Read daily affirmations. Go back to your doctor/nutritionist and have a frank discussion w/them regarding where you are and why you're struggling. Realize that spring and summer are right around the corner and you will become more active. You are stronger than you think.....
  6. Two weeks of parades, parties, and fun. Two weeks of ALCOHOL and FOOD shoved in your face at every turn...... But, this year will be different. I won't be partaking in King Cakes, fried chicken, snack foods, and lots of adult beverages.... I will be able to march parade routes 6-7 miles long as a chaperone for my son's high school band (that's a first bc i couldnt do that 100+ pounds ago). And I may be partaking in sugar free Jell-O shots the night I'll be riding in a parade..... If you're coming to New Orleans, remember to yell, "Throw Me Something, Mister!"

    I have had similar experiences while starting solids again after a fill. Within a few days to a week, it seems to settle in...... At least, for ME!

    You want the really good news? I don't even miss the sugar and those carbs anymore..... So much more energy..... For me, they were energy zappers. Best of luck..... You WILL get through this!!!!!

    exercise...

    I started three months before my surgery, riding a stationary bike .... At 280 pounds, I could barely put my weight on my legs.... It was just too painful to walk or do the elliptical. The bike seat bares your weight, so it's a great way to start cardio workouts.... In my opinion.

    Well, yesterday is over... You did that.... You ate that..... But the day is over. One day, one dessert, one bad choice...... But, it's over!!!! Today is a whole new day. You are still on your way to that goal and then to MAINTENANCE !!!!!!

    I would love to have my arms done..... I can wear spanks and keep that tummy under control, but I'm so damn tired of wearing three quarter length sleeves..... I would so love to wear short sleeve or sleeveless tops..... I do occasionally wear them------- but my arms are still massive!

    I hear you.... In New Orleans, this past month, we have had the temperatures of all four seasons within two days..... It's crazy..... And I like the electricity bill when the setting Is OFF!

    Eating out

    Always be packing protein bars. The only fast food establishment I frequent is Wendy's..... I order the chilli or their salads. Also, I keep a small ice chest in my car, so I can throw in a FROZEN GEL PACK, and then I bring Tupperware containers of tuna or chicken salad, grapes, apple slices, etc.
