    not loosing weight

I also am not losing weight following my surgery on August 22nd. The first week while recovering I lost 8 pounds and since have gained a pound or so of that back. I have not restriction and am hoping my fill next week will help me to start feeling full. I am really struggling with not eating larger portions and keeping them to 1 to 1-1/2 cups. I do not feel satisfied and my stomach is grumbling Although we are all told that there might not be restriction after the swelling goes down, it is darn near impossible to not get your hopes up after going through with the surgery. I too have ready about people losing 20 to 30 pounds before their first fill and am somewhat frustrated. I am so ready for my first fill and feeling that full filling sooner again

    disappointed

I was banded on 8/22 and lost 8 lbs. the first two weeks. This week I gained a pound back and am feeling hungry and like I can eat anything. I am hoping my first fill on the 17th gives me the restriction that will aid in me losing weight. Right now I feel like I did before the surgery. Struggling to not over eat and a bit depressed to not be losing some weight each week.
  3. I am 8 days post op and have started on soft foods along with the liquids. My hunger is back so this is going to be a long three weeks until my first fill. Fortunately tuna is a great protein and so is fish which makes you stay filling fuller longer! Chew, chew, and then chew some more before swallowing. My timeline of what I am eating was well planned by the doctor and dietician prior to my surgery, I wanted no surprises and pre planning for success was my goal!
