Have been banded for 9 months now and have lost 95 lbs. would really like to lose 30 more lbs. at my highest (the before pic) I was 369 lbs. I lost 90lbs on my own before the band. I am siting around 180-185 right now. Just wanted to share where I am now.

I am heading to Oklahoma from Wyoming to visit family this weekend and am considering getting a small .25 cc fill since I will be in the same town as my doc on Friday before my mom and I fly out. I don't get down to him often (4 hours away). My concern is flying right after a fill. I had .5 taken out about a month ago because I was way too tight and have been starving since. I have lost about 7lbs since that and am just struggling. I am trying to weigh the risk of being a tiny bit tight on my vacation against the fact that my life is getting really busy and another trip to the doc in the next month is unlikely. Opinions please!

Dr Holloway did my surgery too. I am from gillette. Was banded the end of September.

My doc gave me a very aggressive (for me) fill of 1cc on Wednesday and I am getting stuck sooo easy and can't eat anything solid until afternoon. I have woken up with a sore throat every morning since the fill but haven't PB'd or woke up coughing:choking at night. I have also lost 5lbs since Wednesday. Is this the green zone or am I too full. I have 5 cc in my 11cc band.

My surgeon doesn't have me do that but I have been trying to stick to mostly liquids

4 months out and 54lbs down. Things have slowed to a crawl. Losing maybe .5 a week and then having a 6-7 lb loss overnight.

Dr Holloway did my surgery too. I mostly see Dot for fills and stuff though. Hope you are doing well!

I have discovered that I have a bone near my kitty and that it hurts like heck during sex. It's always been covered with fat. Tonight my husband even said that it feels kinda uncomfortable and that he is concerned that if he gets to aggressive it's going to really hurt me. Lol. Guess this is kinda a dirty nsv!

I don't think you are doing anything wrong!!! Everyone loses at a different pace.

I had my surgery on September 27th. I have an 11cc band and have 3.5 cc in it. I stay full for 5-6 hours usually.

Nope I am from Wyoming. Not doing anything special I don't think. I only eat 1/2 a cup when I am hungry which is maybe twice a day and do a protein shake once a day. I need to get back into the gym though.

Just checking in. Down 45 pounds since surgery date. Things are going good. Pain that I had is getting better another fill scheduled for January although I don't know that I need it honestly.

I have been having pain near my port and in my stomach for the last week. I have not thrown up or been stuck but I just hurt. I even went to the ER and had a barium swallow ct done to check for a slip because i hurt so bad. The doc said that it looked perfect, no sign of prolapse and my band is right at the bottom of my esophagus like it should be. Has anyone else ever had this?

I am going to make an appointment. I was glad my band looked good but still worry they missed something.

I haven't had any solid food today and still have the pain. I am gonna pop a Tylenol and sleep if off hopefully
