That's AWESOME news Alexandra. As a newbie I have learned so much from your posts! I hope all goes well for you! Do you have to do a pre-op diet again??? Good luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Even though I enjoyed Rosie on the View and looked forward to "Hot Topics" I am very tired of her now - she could have used alot more class during her last three weeks. She should stick to being a comedienne instead of putting this country down all the time. Look how much money she had made "in this country". I really don't understand why she attacked Elizabeth H. that day on the View. She came out of no where with that anger. It makes me wonder if she doesn't have some underlying emotional problems. OR do you think she did it for the last day of "Sweeps"

Laure, thanks so much for this post. That is so frightening and I appreciate the heads up on this information. I do feel bad for that woman though because I know how hard it is do fight those cheating and craving demons.

Medifast Shakes, etc. - NEED ADVICE
mylapspirit replied to mylapspirit's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
No I am not banded yet as I am awaiting my insurance approval. They asked me to send pictures of myself from the years 2004 and 2005 to prove that I was morbidly obese back then. The pictures had to have real dates on them either on the front or back. I should know something in several weeks and I hope it is good news because I started this process back in August 2006. I am glad you are feeling better and I will try to get some samples of the Unjury protein - and thank you so much for your feedback on this. Shelli:) -
Discouraged after seminar

It is very important for you to know that if you have the surgery done locally or elsewhere that the bariatric program and doctors have been awarded the Circle of Excellance designation for their bariatric programs. They have to meet rigorous standards to meet this designation and I feel it is very important for you to have surgery where they have met this qualification. Good luck in your research and don't give up. -
Does anyone know if you can take this if you have hypertension?

American Idol 2007

IMO - I think Melinda got robbed last night. Jordin is very good but Blake is not except when he does the be bop thing. It is obvious by the longevity of Sanjaya that most of the voters are teenyboppers. Melinda will make it though - true talent rises to the top! :bandit -
Has anyone tried the Focus 28 Wellness products? I have read that they have cream soups that are high in protein and good protein bars. If anyone has tried these will you post and let us know your opinion of them. Thanks!:help:

I also have very dry skin and eczema. I have found that one Omega-3 Fish Oil capsule or one Cod Liver Oil capsule per day helps. And of course there is no calories. Some people freeze these so when you take you are not burping up fish taste all day. Ugh!

Hi ya'll. Well gotta another letter from my insurance company on Friday. Now they are asking for pictures of me from 2004 and 2005. Oh and they want dates on them. They want me to prove that I am morbidly obese. I currently weigh 371, my doctor has submitted proof to this, my surgeon has submitted proof to this but still they do not believe. I guess they think I could go from 150 to 371 in less than two years??? Can you believe this??? Excuse my French but Damn ! Well I actually could gain about 50 pounds while in hibernation from January till April but --------Well here I go to look for old pictures. I hate my picture taken but I know have some somewhere here.....................They are wasting their time because I will not give in - they will cover this surgery-------- Thanks for letting me vent. Shell:omg:

Hi! I also buy all my clothes online but have never bought anything from Jessica London but I love their clothes. I was wondering how they hold up after repeated washings??? I love to shop at Ulla Popken.com. They have a lot of cool styles and lately have been having good online discounts. I will try out the other sites you had mentioned too. Thanks, Shelli:cool:

Hi Mike, well that is good news that you have the insurance companies approval. I was denied and I am now waiting for them to reconsider as I sent addtional inforamtion in. I can't believe you have to gain back the eleven pounds. That sure is healthy right before surgery(not).:rolleyes Good luck to you and let us know how you are doing. I am glad you did not give in to the red tape.
