what happened? I have similiar symptoms whic his throwing up and reflux and they told me my lapband prolapsed and now i am on liquids for 4 weeks and have to have this surgically taken care of . I had mine done in 2009 and lost about 100 pounds. What did your doctor say?

I just found out today that my band has pro-lapsed which I am guessing is the same as slipping. I had it back in 2009 and lost over 100 pounds .They had to remove all of the fluid from my band and i am on liquids and soft footds for 4 weeks. In the meantime they are setting up a date to fix the band and they possible have to remove it and put a new one in. i had been having some reflux and throwing up but nothing severe but they said they do not think this will go away on its on. That it can just get worse.
