I did and still do some times. I'm 9 days post-op. I have to make myself eat a little more soups or liquids through out the day and drink plenty of water too.

I was on here a few days ago and saw a delicious sounding recipe for lasagna in a cup??????? Did anyone else save it?

I had surgery 5 days ago and I was hurting pretty good the day afterwards. It mostly felt like I did A LOT of sit-ups! But the biggest pain was where the biggest incision was ( the port cite). But day two and three the "sore ab" feeling began going away. The port cite only hurts now when I move a certain way, try to pickup something or lay down and try to get back up. So because of that I had to sleep in the recliner since I came home, but the soreness is completely gone. Can't wait to move back to my bed! Good luck and God bless! Hi everyone! I had surgery 5 days ago and I keep having this heart burn/gaseous feeling (especially while I'm eating). I know they put gas inside me to do the surgery but all that feels like its gone. Is this normal? Also how long did it take the port cite to heal for most of you? Thank you for your support and time!

Thank you so much! I'm on the same diet. Just added full liquid type foods such as fat free pudding and light yogurt. I've never had acid reflux before but this seems to make me have more. I have also been walking and you're right that does help with the gas pressure and soreness. I will keep up what I'm doing then. Just wanted to make sure it was normal. Haha

Hi everyone, I'm an August bander too! I had surgery on the 22nd and here am two days later. I'm really sore (feels like I just did a super amount of push-ups). My biggest incision which I'm assuming is where the port was placed hurts quite a bit but all is well. I was able to walk around a lot and even drive. I'm thanking God the whole way! Without Him I probably would be in worse pain than I'm in now and way more miserable so it's great! I hope it gets better from here and not worse. My doctor is awesome so I know he will take care of me. I definitely second guessed everything yesterday when the pain was the worst. Does it hurt when they fill the lapband?

Thank you both for sharing. My big incision hurts when I move or stretch a certain way. But other than that I feel good. Thank for the advice too and encouragement

Well it's my first day after surgery and other than soreness and the bigger incision hurting, I feel good. They have some nasty medicine that they gave me though! Yuck! Did anyone else get the nasty medicine? How did you deal with it? They said to take sips until I can tolerate swallowing but its gross!
