The loss of symtoms was within 10 min of the unfill. I then felt great and within 3 weeks had gained 7 pounds. So I am working up to restriction again.

I know you guys are still lurking around. Has everyone lost all the weight they wanted to????

So how are all of your April 2005 Bandsters doing now? I haven't heard from many of you lately. I am still struggling but hanging in here. Still have about 18 pounds to lose.

I find that if I drink something hot first I don't have that first bite thing. I either use hot water with a lemon in or hot tea. You may want to try this.

I still have 18 pounds to go, I am out 17 months now. I am at a 2.8 but can eat almost anything if I chew alot and take alot of time eating. I probably should get another fill but have just not wanted to be too tight. I am surprised that you are at that fill level I would have guessed you would be tighter. Good hearing from you.

Hi Vera, actually I have lost a little more, I need to post it this morning. It has been slow going but worth it! How are you? are you at goal?

Dr. McKeen has given me 5 fills with just drinking water. It worked great for me.

What kind of anti depressant? Paxil usually does that.

I am a slow loser so I desided to try Curves. It has really helped me alot. When I first went I looked at the process and throught this is just to easy it can't make a difference, but it did. I struggle to lose 3 pounds a month and this has really helped me lose inches.

Dr. McKeen is great and his Nurse is very easy to work with. I need to get back in for another fill soon too. His office is in Orem, he flys in to do Surgery and fills every two weeks. Thanks Jack, I am trying to learn to take smaller bites of that s..... sandwich. I also try not to focus so much on weight loss. I am trying to work on walking and going to Curves, my weight loss isn't that good but I have lost a pant size. Also if we are not filled tight enough this band thing is not going to work right! I am at a 2.8 and I need to get a fill again.

I hate to report this but I am a slow loser and I am really lucky if I can lose 1/4 IB per week. Some weeks nothing. I follow the all the rules and excercise.I would love to find out what you guys are doing to lose so fast.

So how many cc do you have all together?

You may need another fill. I think this may have been part of my problem too. It would be nice to know at what fill level everyone is at right now.

I am a slow loser, have had my band 14 months. Have only lost about 34 pounds and just the last month my hair has started to fall out!

You will be fine after your fill, then stock up on sugar free stuff.

I found a really new diet drink, I found it at Smiths Food King. It is Diet Ocean Spray they have two flavors, I have used the Cranberry and they have an Orange but I haven't tried it yet. It was $1.00 for 33 fl oz. and has 5 calories per serving ,no carbonation either. I drink a few ozs. and then put it in the freezer. It tastes great to me and it will last all day.
