The sock things are to prevent DVT. They work like blood pressure cuffs while you sleep. My shake I decided to do full strength instead of watering down. A little harder to drink. Sip, sip, sip

I walked so much yesterday that my calves feel like rubber... myv incisions are starting to itch. Wondering how I can get a shower easily. Gonna go wprk on Protein shaken Thanks for all the support

Glad you all posted... my stomach rumbles, I wish I could pass the gas... starting liquid poops yesterday 2 days post op. I wish the gurgling would stop.

Woke up at 4am went for walk at 6, drank protein shake as directed, walked again at 8. So sore and achy. Plan on drinking broths and water all day. I potty every hour and just sit and trickle. Bored and don't feel up to anything.... sigh.

Leaving in 10 minutes... not as nervous today probably because I am half asleep. Check back and let you know how it goes!

I have gummy vitamins, and was wondering if they will be problem after surgery... anybody have experience? Also chewable calcium citrate

I was wondering if anyone knew of brands of miso so I can send DH to store? He can only get what I specifically say... sucha sweet, but concrete man.

I got home from surgery around noon. My husband made me walk 15 minutes before getting in to bed. Then I woke up to having to use the restroom. He didn't answer his phone and I started freaking out. I made it and heard him in kitchen. I called over and over and he answered but didn't come. I just burst into tears and haven't stopped yet. He is hitching about finding sugar free jello. I love him. Had no idea his bedside manner sucked..., not sure why I am so teary.

He was told I could get blood clots and have a stroke. His mom had a stroke.,, he was also told that my lungs partially collapsed and i have to suck on this breathing thing... I times out of ten I am ok with him pushing me... then I lose my head and cry, calling him mean. I m really not myself.

Wow that sounded pretty drugged. Heh. I think the pain I feel is from hernia repair. I am having no trouble drinking warm or cold. Just those muscles under my l left chest area hurt like a biatch. Codeine in 1.5 hours

Headed home has pain horrible.. driving well riding hurts

I decided to do half servings of my isopure zero carb... in the mornings I throw in a Starbucks via. Then I just drink a half serviing when hungry...

Both I guess... looking to soothe inside and out.

I met my hubby at 18... I was FINE FINE. We went our own ways for 20 years and got married 4 years ago.. he still loved me 100 lbs Heavier. He is quietly supportive of the WLS. I love him and we have never been happier. I wouldn't mind if men flirted more, and I don't worry about my straying eyes. Even at this weight I have guys trying to flirt. Not tempted at all.
