Ur first fill is nerve racking and exciting I didn't know what was going to happen or how it was going to feel but it's nothing I love my lap band I wish u so much luck

I'm still going to his Etown office for now their last day there is the 21st of January so after that I will have to go to Louisville in which I am not looking forward to but gotta do what ya gotta do lol

Congrats u look great!!!! I had surgery 8/26/13 and I now have 7cc's in my band and am down 58 pounds I'm loving the banded life

I know have 7cc's in my 14cc band iv had 3 fills so far and am down 58 pounds

I was also banded at baptist east by dr oldham

Thanks guys!!! Good luck on ur surgery u will do fine I was soooooo nervous before mine but had no issues but I did exactly to the T what I was told to never cheated I think that's the trick!

I had surgery on the 26th of August and my first fill was a week ago today I have now lost 40 pounds since surgery !!!!!!!!! I already feel restriction from the fill and feel great!!!! I would do this surgery over and over again I had no problems and have completely redone my life I eat totally different no Cokes no breads and walk 2 miles a night I'm loving my new life

I am on different foods daily I add something new today is sweet potatoes and oatmeal. I also can have sugar free puddings apple sauce and low fat yogurt mashed potatoes and soft cooked veggies and I am one week and one day post op (obviously was banded the 26th) lol I have found on this forum that every doctor and post and also pre op diets are different DRASTICALLY different good luck -

Just ate them and they r yummy!!!!!!! And I made them were they weren't so crunchy everything went down fine and stayed down -

Thanks for the concorn I have found that every doctor is different I called the office this morning and asked if I could have them and they explained to chew well and I would be fine but eat slowly so we shall see -
Welps I officially turned my house healthy tonight!!! We went to Kroger and got turkey everything (bacon, ground turkey, sausage) I even went thru my house and gave all my fattening foods to a friend who has twins who could use some help!! Today I get to have mashed potatoes sweet potatoes and cottage cheese sooo I am having sweet potatoe fries tonight yum!!! I am one week post op and have already lost 25 pounds (including my pre op diet about 15 post op) and I go back to work tomorrow and I'm feeling fantastic needless to say I'm loving my band so far

I feel the same way all my pain is under my boobs toward the center left side of my stomach went for my post op follow up this morning and he said its gas which I figured so I walk every chance I get -

I got banded yesterday I was in no pain yesterday as u said but day #2 I'm feeling it I have a pain pump in and the medicine is in a fanny type bag hanging from my neck which is annoying but it comes out Thursday praise The Lord lol I still can't believe I actually have a band now super crazy hope fully u will have not so much pain good luck!! -
