Overweight for past 15 years. Morbidly obese, 10 years. Weight watchers, medifast, nutrisystem, binging,purging, starvation, diet pills, u name name it. Here I am bruised, but not broken.i am ashamed that let myself end up her, that I have to have a surgical intervention to help me. But know this.....I am courageous enough to advocate for myself. To risk my life to change things. If I have to live the next 30 years like this, in this body, in this mental state, I would rather not be here. So here I go, my bruised, battered body, tormented soul dreaming and planning of a different life. A healthier, happier, more mobile me. Surgery Oct. 1 yikes.
